Today is April 5; DeWire has had my car since March 8 -- and I only have a promise Ill get it back today. Everyone has been nice enough when I call or visit, but I cant believe theyre taking so long. Latest thing: At almost the last minute they remembered (oops) that they need to go to a Toyota dealer to "reset the air bags." Shouldnt that automatically be the final step when you need to replace air bags? Plymouth Rock Assurance sez theyll stand behind DeWire, so I plan to notify them about the delays *once I finally get the car back!* Also: How does a typical driver judge the quality of body work? Lots of trust involved here. The only advantage -- not much of one -- is that this place is in my city, so I was able to visit the car as needed to pick up FastPass transponder, car phone recharger and so on. I hope I never have another accident, but if I do, I dont think Id let this place touch it!

I have used Dewire Bros. for multiple projects, from vehicle repair to modification. They are always very pleasant, willing to help and I have never experienced unusually long wait times. They are a Commerce Insurance preferred shop for a reason. Remember, this work is very meticulous and time consuming. Furthermore, if a shop has 15 cars before yours, would it be fair to ask them to prioritize your vehicle over another car that was there first? I have had several cars in different body shops over the years and it has taken at least one month to repair any sort of major body damage to each one of them. Those who complain about long wait times simply reveal that they know nothing of how body-shops operate and what it takes to properly refurbish a damaged vehicle. Good luck to you finding someone better, you wont, take your car to Scott and he will do a great job!

Extremely helpful and courteous. I had an estimate done there a while back and still havent done the work, but I will definitely have them do the work after today. Not knowing where else to go, I brought them a bent walker (a nice one that cost over $300 new) and they straightened it for me at no charge. Again, very helpful, very courteous, and very kind.
