Where do I start? Absolutely everything about working with these folks was a complete pleasure. I have half a mind to get in another fender-bender, just to give these guys some more business. Here you go, line by line: 1) Everyone I interacted with at State Auto Body was friendly and welcoming, particularly Steve. They returned calls very quickly and did a great job of communicating everything that was going on. Mario, the owner, clearly takes pride in his business and is incredibly friendly in his own right. 2) The office itself is beautiful, recently renovated. I asked, and apparently they renovated a few years ago. You wouldnt know it though. The place is so clean and neat youd think they finished the reno yesterday. I know this isnt the most important thing in the world, but it speaks volumes about how much they care about their business. 3) The work on my car was of higher quality than I ever would have hoped for. My car went from looking like a prize-fighter after a KO to looking like it just rolled off the lot at the dealership. 4) They cleaned the car, inside and out. They waxed it and oiled the leather, for crying out loud. Ive never gotten a car back from a body shop looking this nice. Seriously. Gorgeous. 5) The pricing seemed quite fair and was actually much less expensive than I had anticipated. Any one of the above would have been worthy of a 5-star rating. But the fact that they hit them all out of the park is just unbelievable. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. Hell, Ill do a testimonial for a radio ad! If you live in the Providence area, or even southeastern Mass, it is well worth your time to bring your car here. Mario and Steve (and everyone else), thank you so much for the fantastic job you did.

I got to say these guys are such nice people especially Mario. Their paint jobs are also great and looks like the day you get it from the dealer ;however if they miss a certain spot that was promised to be painted , they will not give it their all to fix the spots they missed . I basically live 3 1/2 hours away from the auto body and got my car painted on my vacation in Rhode Island . I noticed they missed a spot by my rear door so they said come back and theyll take care of it . Drove 3 1/2 hours just to have them paint the missed spots, but wait get this , it looks like its been painted by a brush and is obviously not up to their standards when they painted the rest of my car. Im not angry at them just disappointed. I mean I drove 3 1/2 hours to get to the autobody and I plan to drive back home on the same day . Three stars just because I had to drive back when it should have properly been painted beforehand and also when I came back , the missed spots were poorly painted. If I knew it would turn out like that I would have stayed home and avoided the trip. I would have given them 5 if the missed spots were never missed and I didnt waste my time coming back to get it done so poorly. This is just an honest review but man I really wish I could have given them 5 just because of their customer service. Unfortunately, an autobody cant get five just from customer service alone.

The team at State Auto Body provided me with excellent customer service and went above and beyond to help me when I was experiencing a car related emergency. On my way to work at the VA hospital, a noise from my car that had been increasing in volume grew louder and more concerning. I googled closest mechanic shop near me and had the great fortune of that shop being State Auto Body. I called over to the shop and the team helped me to arrange a same day car drop off and they were able to accommodate me within the very narrow window I had available to leave work. After dropping off my car, a staff member gave me a ride back to the VA. They were able to identity and fix the problem very quickly, and because it was clear that the issue was due to a previous mechanics carelessness (not properly screwing down the lug nuts when the snow tires were put on), the State Auto Body team did not charge me for the service. The team also drove my car back up to the VA so that I was safe and had no delays in terms of getting home by close of business. I am truly grateful for their generosity and efficiency! (This feedback is overdue - my apologies to the State Auto Body team! You guys were awesome, thank you again!) 10/10 highly recommend!

I have lived in RI for 30 years and have used a few different Auto Body Shops over the course of that time. I have NEVER experienced the kind of service that I received from State Auto Body. They were so helpful, friendly, and accommodating from my first phone call until the day I picked my car up. They acted like it was a privilege to serve me as their customer. They even made all the arrangements for my rental car, which was waiting for me when I dropped my car off.The quality of their work was outstanding. I looked at my car and there was no trace that it had ever been hit. It looked brand new! If you are ever in need of auto body service - search no more! These folks are the ones you want to hand your vehicle over to with full confidence that you will be getting the best possible service at the best possible price!

I needed some body work done to my car, I called them, mind you I never been there, told them my friend just backed into my car and I need a hood and some body work done. I told them Im starting a new job next week and hoped they could help me. He ordered the hood that moment on a Tuesday he called me Thursday morning telling me it was their I brought the car in an hour later it was like 10 a.m. I hoped to get the car by Saturday cause it was labor day weekend. Well, he called me Thursday night and said it was done come get it! I was in disbelief. But I was totally happy that they actually listened to my situation and responded. Theyre a great group of guys and Im happy I brought my car there.... I definitely tell my family members to go there if they need ANY work done ...........

My family and I have always used state auto body from as far back as I can remember (over 20 years) Mario, Steve and their staff truly go beyond the meaning of quality service. I brought my car in for auto body repair after many, many accidents, and from start to finish the process is easy and streamlined. Besides the excellent customer service, my car looks as good as new! The shop kept me updated on their progress with text/calls/voicemails etc. Best of all they took care of all communication with my insurance company. No hassle with my rental car it was there upon my arrival. I cannot say enough good things about Mario and Steve it is good to know your in good hands with them! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone in need of auto body service. Go see Mario and Steve !
