We had the honor to have CKE for our wedding day providing us with Photography, Videography, DJ/MC, Uplighting, Photo Booth and the one and only Boston Bruins Legend Rene Rancourt! We dont know how or where to begin expressing our eternal gratitude gratitude towards all of the CKE staff, especially Curtis and Anna! From Day one, Curtis was absolutely amazing in ever which way! We knew right away he was the best choice for our wedding day! Curtis was very professional, nice, and patient with every question or concern we could have. He was always ready and willing with an answer to any of our questions, never pressuring us however, he advised us of all possible outcomes to any ideas and thoughts we may have had. CKE consistently made everything stress-free and easy to choose which way to go on our wedding day. Curtis went above and beyond all expectations when I approached him with the idea of having Rene Rancourt at the wedding reception for a surprise gift for my husband as well as all our guests. The surprise on my husbands face when he saw Rene walk out and give him his Stanley Cup ring to wear during the National Anthem was priceless and a moment I will cherish for the rest of my life. CKE also provided came with his camera and a flat screen taking pictures of us throughout the event, capturing moments and displaying them on the flat screen literally minutes after they were taken. It really added to the atmosphere of the night as a whole. Guests were loving the fact that they were getting pictures taken with each other at the reception and then seeing them on screen made it all that more special to them. We also received all the photos from the event within one week of the wedding. What a great surprise that was! Curtis and Anna were our DJs and MCs for the night. They kept the party going and all the guests entertained on the dance floor. Literally everyone we have talked to about the setlist of songs played at our wedding, loved how fun and energetic they were, keeping the dance floor packed! Curtis presided over our ceremony as the Justice of the Peace. He gave us a one of a kind, sweet, and memorable ceremony that our friends and families have been raving about non-stop. Classy, elegant, yet modern and new all at the same time. Not just the normal "I dos", however a journey of commitment to one another beautifully done. The scenery at the reception was one of a kind, and what made it all that more special was the uplighting CKE did throughout the venue. Not only in the ballroom but also in the entrance lobby where our guests arrived. Paying attention to details like that made our night all that more special, because it wasnt just us caring about how it looks, but rather CKE wanted us to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. It was the icing on the cake, making our night that much more spectacular. Jeff Crowley was our videographer for the night. He was an expectional person and was very diligent to capture our night from start to finish. Having a videographer was a top priority and CKE did not disappoint. We also had the photo booth which had an on-site attendant (Rich) assisting all the guests with as many photo prints as they wanted as well as keeping one for use to have in an album that CKE would give us at the end of the night. The photo booth had tons of props and was extremely spacious to accommodate different sized groups to go in and take part in the fun. It wasnt the old style photo booth you see at run down carnivals, this was a modern and elegant one that absolutely fit our theme and overall look we were going for. At the end of the day, without the services and professional attitude from CKE, our wedding wouldnt have been the same. CKE made our day picture perfect, memorable to our guests, and exceeded all of our expectations in every single way. CKE is the only company we trust from here on out for the big events in our lives yet to come. Thank you to all the staff at CKE for all your effort in making our day so special to us. This is my 3rd time booking an event with Curtis Knight and my 1st time for a corporate event. As always, the process is so easy! Everything is straight forward on the website for pricing. No hidden costs! Also, Curtis is quick to get back to any questions you have and in no time my event was booked!  Paying for my event was also hassle free because I could use the online planner and payment system with our corporate credit card, so I never had to worry about cutting checks and mailing them. This was the easiest part of planning for our company holiday party! Mark Cherone was our CKE Team Member and he was AMAZING! I selected him as the DJ for our event because I had used him before for my wedding last fall and we also saw him DJ my sister-in-law’s wedding a few years ago too. He is fabulous and really knows how to meet all of your needs! During my wedding, we had a huge dance crowd and Mark worked out great for that event. However, I was a little nervous for my company party because I knew our employees are not big dancers, but it worked out great! Mark selected music that had a good beat and he kept it at a nice sound level so you could enjoy the music and still hold a conversation with someone. He even had a great suggestion for the raffles we had….we did a DANCE OFF! Our employees had so many laughs watching this and it really got everyone involved. We were so pleased that Mark suggested this. We have received numerous compliments already about how they loved the music and wanted to know the name/company the DJ worked for. I could not recommend Mark enough. I plan on using him many more times in the future! As I mentioned above, Mark also was the DJ for my wedding which was great because we have so many friends that love to dance and we nonstop danced all night! However, the employees at my company are not big dancers and I was wondering how that was going to work out. Mark is such an amazing DJ that he is able to work the room with both types of groups: those that dance and those that don’t. He can keep the dancing going with all of our friends/family at our wedding or he can play great music that sits well in the background while you are trying to have conversation amongst co-workers. It takes a phenomenal DJ to be able to work both sides like Mark is able to do. I can’t thank him enough for all he did both the night of our wedding and also last Friday night at my company party! THANKS MARK!!!! Also, thank you Curtis and Anna for running such an amazing company! I can’t wait to work with you again someday soon.

As anyone will tell you, when you work at an event venue, particularly where weddings take place every weekend for 5 months of the year, the other important pieces of the wedding day like the entertainment does not catch special attention. By the end of the season, the photographers, florists, cake makers and the DJ/MCs all become one big blur, etc. Reviews are usually the responsibility of the bride and groom (and rightly so). I was so impressed with the DJ/MC offered by Curtis Knight Entertainment at a recent wedding and reception, I wanted to add my thoughts on behalf of the Essex Room. I cannot say enough about how wonderful it was to work with DJ Rolling Rick on this event. Most of the East Coast was dealing with cold, rain, and high winds this past week. Rick arrived early to be sure everything was in place inside the hall and outside where the ceremony was to be held. Rick made sure that he was prepared for every contingency in the event the ceremony was moved inside (which it was). Rick could not have been more friendly and willing to offer any help he could to make the transition go as smoothly as possible. The thing that really set him apart, in my opinion, from others we have had work with us? At one point, I looked over and he was helping our staff break down the chairs used for the inside ceremony. He went above and beyond to help us and there was nothing more to it than he is a good guy. He was wonderful to interact with, helpful beyond why he was there. Everyone on staff loved the music he played at all stages of the wedding. I was very impressed at his ability to understand and embrace his responsibility without taking the spotlight. Some DJs can lose sight of their role, DJ Rolling Rick took his job as DJ/MC seriously, but he knew he was there to make sure the guests had a good time and ensure the bride and groom were the center of attention. The sign of a successful DJ can be seen by the look on everyone’s faces on the dancefloor. There was no questions he brought the fun. The Essex Room and Curtis Knight Entertainment have enjoyed a long association and DJ Rolling Rick was a wonderful representative.
