I ALWAYS recommend Tommy Hawkins when I hear of anyone looking for a DJ! I have been to many events with him. First as a chaperone at the local school dances. These dances actually sold out, and they had a capacity of 200 kids! Secondly, I am a wedding photographer, and have worked many weddings with Tommy. He is honestly the best DJ I have worked with. He is professional but fun. He keeps the event flowing seamlessly, with a great sound system that just makes you want to dance. Needless to say, the dance floor is always full. Tommy also goes all out to create photo ops! I have many great shots thanks to him! Whether it is tricking everyone into getting on the dance floor for a group shot (with the intention of making them stay there and dance), getting everyone to look up to the balcony for an overhead shot, making the centerpiece winners get on stage for a "chorus line", or even doing a "soul train", Tommy is the best at creating a memorable event! Obviously, when it came time for my daughters Sweet Sixteen we hired him. He worked his usual magic and we had an unforgettable night! I cant say enough. You cant go wrong with Tommy :)

Platinum Entertainments MADE our wedding! Tommy Hawkins was nothing short of amazing. He knows how to keep the crowd on the dance floor and involved in the event.—no one left the dance floor all night! You know you had a fun filled wedding when I my in-laws wanted to know how to extend the party and keep it going--- people were leaving bummed to go home. I really wanted everyone to have a good time and have our wedding be us, and Tommy allowed us to do just that!! Besides the amazing music, we had the photobooth , uplighting and the Gobo Monogram and WOW, it made our wedding! The photobooth is a blast and his attendants were very professional and helpful throughout the entire night. My Gobo monogram was customized for my husband and very special to me. Tommy was able to create exactly what I dreamt of and when it was projected on our tent ceiling with the colored uplighting, it finished the “look of the wedding” I dreamt of! If we could give more than 5 stars, we would! We are so happy we were able to book Tom H at Platinum Entertainment as DJ for our daughters Sweet Sixteen party last weekend. From start to finish, it was an excellent experience. My daughter and her friends absolutely loved the pick & play option which had been set up prior to the party, ensuring their favorites would be played. The lighting was great, the music was awesome, and the kids were on the dance floor for four hours straight, barely stopping for pizza & cake! When we got home, the first thing our daughter said was "Thank you so much for getting me that DJ.. he was the best!"

He djd my wedding 9/9/16 and was awesome. He was responsive to emails and calls before the wedding date and was really open with all of our ideas and helped us out with choices where we needed it. He was very knowledgable. As far as the wedding reception, he did awesome! He did great with the songs we picked and all of the introductions. He kept people dancing all night. Lights were perfect. I have no complaints. I recommend this company!

Tom was great! Very professional and easy to talk to. He called a couple times before the wedding to go over all our needs and how to pronounce names to make sure everything was perfect. The day of the wedding he kept the dance floor moving and everyone of our guests we talked to had a blast! Highly recommend and if my wife and I had to do it over again we would definitely use Tom again!!

Tom, Is a great DJ! We got so many compliments on the music and guest raved about the Photo Booth, all the extras we got was worth it all! Tom answered all my questions even if i asked the same questions 10 times. He was patient. He kept us in loop with the timeline of the night! Highly recommend. You wont be disappointed

We have used Platinum Entertainment the last two years for our office Christmas party. The first year we used the photo booth and caricature artists, and this past year only the photo booth. They come in, set up promptly and inspire a lot of fun! It was definitely a hit both years, and we plan on using them again.
