First, let me start off my saying my nails were a horror. I had stupidly tried to take off my 3 day old acrylics with a drill that I bought from Walgreens and some acetone - bad idea. When I was finally done my nails were as one ply toilet paper and full of ridges. I went online and did some research and came to the conclusion that a silk wrap would do my nails some good. I made my appointment the night before because I had read online that I should make one ahead of time. When I got there, it was smaller than I had expected but very clean and calming - soft music was playing, it smelled pretty good (no acrylic fumes), and I even saw a little candle burning in the corner. I walked in and told them that i had a 5:30 appointment (it was about 5:20) and one of the women told me to find my color. They have a wide variety of gel and regular nail polishes, but not too much that its impossible to pick a color. Vi walked up to me and asked me what I wanted. I then told her that I wanted a silk wrap and she waited patiently as I picked my color, even throwing in a little advice. She then started on my nails. My nails were very fragile and once I told her my situation she treated my nails very gently. Although her english is not too well, she still kept up friendly conversation with me. She accommodated my every whim without getting annoyed. In the end, my nails look amazing. I didnt have any cash and told her i would be right back with her tip (theres a bank of america next door) but she said "Its okay, next time" with a smile. Fantastic nail salon, and definitely my new nail salon from now on.

I have lived in Boston for about 2 years now and have had the worst experience with nail salons. I had given up, but after getting engaged I knew that I would need to get back on my nail game! I did research online and saw many great reviews of Treasured Hands. Upon arriving I already had a different feeling than at the other nail salons on Newbury and Charles Street. The salon is SO clean. And every person that works there is so friendly and they always speak English in front of you which is really nice! One of my biggest pet peeves is going into a nail salon and listening to an hour of conversation in another language, it is just not inviting. Treasured Hands is the exact opposite. I have gotten gel manicures twice now, both of which have lasted the full 2 weeks. They are slightly more expensive, $32 vs the typical $25 on Newbury but it is so worth it! I brought my Mom with me on Mothers day and she got a pedicure (which she loved), they took their time and were so nice to her, getting her water and offering magazine and such and at the end they handed her a long stem red rose. It was such a nice gesture and really made the experience that much more special for her and of course we all know mothers love that! I cant say enough about this place. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is upstairs so you dont quite spot it from the street so I would suggest Google Mapping it if you are heading there. You have to buzz in when you arrive to be let up to the salon. Also, be sure to call ahead to make an appointment. They book up fast!

I have been going to Vanna at Treasured Nails for about a year now, and I couldn’t be happier! I found this salon through Yelp when I moved to a job in the area, and was looking for the convenience of getting my acrylics filled during my lunch hour. I am extremely particular about my nails, especially after a few bad experiences with acrylics in the past and was nervous about going somewhere new, but Vanna is EXCELLENT. Not only is she friendly (she remembers everyone’s name!), but she does my fills quickly and does them well. I have not had any problems with her work. She has me in and out during my lunch hour, which is great! The other acrylic manicurist, Vi, also does a great job. Good acrylic manicurists are hard to find, and Treasured Hands has two! The quality of their services is top notch, and all of the employees are extremely friendly. The salon is clean, the working stations are clean, and the tools they use are clean – all super important to me. You can also schedule your appointments by e-mail, which is also very convenient. I definitely recommend making an appointment (or walking in – they always have time for walk-ins, another rarity with nail salons!) with Vanna and her team! You won’t be disappointed!!

I overpaid for a pedicure and manicure at this establishment. I went with two of my friends and they were both finished with their same services an hour before me. I pre-shaped my nails into an almond shape for ease and just asked the worker to touch it up but to keep the shape. I look down and she completely took the point off of my nail. I then tried to direct her (even showed her a picture of what I was looking for) and she continued to change the entire shape of my nail. She then proceeded to blatantly talk about me to another worker (pointing and everything). Then, without warning, switched with another woman who then fixed my nails as best as she could from there. Upon being finished, none of the workers would come to take our money. We waited at the cash register for a good five minutes trying to leave. On top of all of this, once I got home, I looked at my toes and both of my big toes are completely botched. I paid for a terrible experience and I would not recommend this establishment.

Went as a gift fro my birthday. I was so excited because of all the amazing reviews and was let way down! My best friends nails were PERFECT! She went with me. The tech took her time on her toes and fingers and they looked so amazing. The lady that did my toes was wonderful but the one who did my nail gel nails let me down. She was rude, rushed the whole process and in the middle she got up to do someone else that had an appointment after me. I feel like instead of trying to rush she shouldve had someone else do my nails. The guy that sat down to finish me had to go back and correct her mistakes. The nails she did my polish washed off within a week. I am in the medical field and wash my hands a ton. Gel usually last me about 3-4 weeks. I ended up going to another place a week later because it was all off and I was upset that I wasted that money. My loving husband paid to have them fix somewhere else. Needless to say I wont be back. I was very disappointed

I go to Treasured Hands Nail Salon FAITHFULL,Y every 2 weeks to get my gel fill and pedicure. I have been going to Treasured Hands for over a year. The staff are absolutely AMAZING. They do a WONDERFUL JOB on my nails. Each technican is a perfectionist. Always pleasant and friendly. Also something they do that I have not seen other Nail Salons do, is sterilize there equipment. Each technician is certified and know all about nail care. They take there time to explain about nail care if you have questions, you never feel rushed like you do in other salons. The massages they give you when you get your manicure and pedicure done are, so relaxing. Vanna the owner picked the right name for her nail salon, we all walk out of there with our hands looking like Treasure. I actually got my nails done today with the magnetic polish. I have gotten so many compliments.
