Let me start by saying the stylists, estheticians, and massage therapists here are great. What is not so great is their policies. The first time I had an issue, I had the H1N1 virus, and had to reschedule my hair appointment. Rather than being understanding, they told me they would have to charge me the full amount as if Id had the appointment. I understand it was last minute, but I was obviously not planning on being sick, and there was nothing I could do. I could have gone in and infected everyone, but I did the right thing. They were already getting my money for the next appointment, so I found it rude and uncalled for that they charged me for being sick. My stylist asked her manager to wave the fee, so I went back. This past time that it happened it happened will be the last. I had to reschedule a brow wax because I hurt my eye. I called, and they were going to charge me full price to reschedule again. I will be going in to see my esthetician this one last time to say goodbye, but I will not be going back after that. I have been going there since they opened, the fact that that counts for nothing is insulting. The audacity that they charge people for things not under their control is ridiculous. It is bad enough that doctors do it, but a salon? How important do they think they really are? I will be taking my business elsewhere due to their ridiculous policies.

My daughter and I went to Pyara today and had a wonderful experience. We walked in at 4:30pm and had an appointment at 5pm. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my hair and it was a mess. Tammy worked her magic and made my hair look amazing! She was very informative, and soo kind. She even recoomended some great hair products with no pressure at all to buy (even though I did anyway) Everyone there was soo kind and friendly. The staff (Michelle-I hope I have her name right) even helped entertain my 5 yr old little girl after her shampoo and style which Hank did and made her already curly hair even more curly and beautiful! I am definitely hooked and will be going back! I already made my next appointment and hope to explore some of the other services they have available. I would absolutely reccommend Pyara and Tammy to anyone who is in desperate need of a wonderful stylist and fabulous Salon!

I pre-paid for the $20 manicure special they were offering. When I called to make the appointment, I told the receptionist I wanted a shellac manicure and asked if the $20 covered that. I was told yes. I asked her again to make sure. She said yes. Fast forward to a day before my vacation. I go in for my manicure and tell them I want the shellac. They say no, they dont have time. I said that I confirmed with the receptionist when I booked the appt. I said I didnt want a regular manicure and to cancel my appointment. They give me attitude and they then charge my credit card with a no-show fee. Eventually they reversed the charged but after multiple phone calls. Annoying place - better places for less money in the area for nicer manicures. i.e. Nails & Co. in Burlington.

Ive only had haircuts here and would highly recommend Erin M! The call center matched me up with her when I requested someone who is experienced with unruly wavy hair, and Ive been in for half a dozen cuts (and a few bang trims in between) always with Erin. I am always really satisfied and havent looked for a new stylist since. She customizes my cut to what I ask for and does an amazing job, even though I can never find a picture that matches up with the idea I have for my desired style. My only complaint is that they dont offer discounted prepaid packages for hair cuts. I come in regularly and would pay for a years worth of services up front if I had the option to save some $ since I am a student, though Ill admit my cut and service is worth full-price.

I had a girl named Vanessa who was new! I normally go to a girl that I really like, but she wasnt there today so I went to Vanessa... Vanessa was very rude and disrespectful and she kept on giving me looks because I just wanted my hair trimmed not styled! She was very bitchy and she did my hair really uneaven! #lionmanegoals Vanessa said that I shouldnt get my hair cut, its not worth it since Im only getting a trim! Normally I get my hair beautifully blow dried and straightened but Vanessa chose to mess up my hair with oil, and blow dry it as I would if I was going to sleep! I regret going here and wished I had just stuck to my hairdresser...

Always dbl check your apptmt!! They scheduled my appointment on the wrong day...when I showed up, it took them 25 minutes before they realized they mistakenly scheduled my appointment for the following day. When I mentioned that I was unable to make it the following day, they just let me leave. They did not attempt to reschedule or offer any discount on product or my next appointment. The salon is nice, but I would not recommend the Burlington location...very frustrating experience.

Pyara has a great staff, very clean, and professional. I have very thick/dry hair, after many terrible cuts, I tried pyara....Im soo happy I did. Kara was amazing, she knew how to correct the last butchers job, and made it look great; she even showed me how to style it different ways. Highly recommended if you have tough to manage hair, they know exactly how to tame it!!

The space is clean, well designed and hip! The staff professional and courteous! My massage was the best experience on and off the table....on because it felt good...and off because that good feeling lasted for many days. My therapists name is Ashley Hume and she knows her stuff...highly recommend her for all types of massage, but especially deep tissue.

I love this place! The staff us awesome! Laura is great!Chistina does my nails. Aimee and Kat keep my eye brows under control. Caitlin has been great with massages. It is such a relaxing atmosphere. And they have Aveda!
