Great gym. I have been to other “Anytime Fitness” gyms and the one in Devens is by far the best in the surrounding area. It has an easy going atmosphere, the owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Equipment is cleaned regularly and gym equipment is rarely out of order. The crowd is a good mix of people of all ages. Not a very noisy gym which is nice. I have never had an issue with access to any treadmill, elliptical, weight machines, or free weights. I do like the free weight area, it is a good sized room compared to other gyms in the surrounding towns. When working out with the free weights you don’t feel crowded by anyone else in the room. I don’t use the classes they offer (Zumba, Yoga, the typical classes at a gym) but they are frequented and active in a separate closed off area, when the area is not in use anyone can use it. I use it for pushups and kettle bell work when no classes are going on. Like any gym it has its busy times and slow times but this gym even at its busiest does not get overwhelming and feels comfortable. People are friendly but everyone is exercising, not a hip hop social club, and I like that. The owner and staff have always been helpful and friendly and answered any questions I have with equipment or an exercise. I do like the 24 hour access I have gone to the gym at various times of the day and night and always felt safe. If you are looking for a gym to exercise at with no hassle, friendly staff, good equipment, this is the place. In addition that when I travel I can use any "Anytime Fitness" in the country is a big plus for me.

My 16 year-old son thought he might like this gym, but after a couple of times going, he felt uncomfortable going. The owner Valerie refused to compromise other services he may have been more comfortable with and insisted I pay for a year without him going!!! Also, they have a 3rd party billing agency that they do not communicate with. I was told to update my billing info with Lori at the Devens location, but then found a late charge by the the billing company since Lori at the Devens location did not update the billing company or tell me to!!! They have a lot of ploys to get you sucked in to joining offering half ass health assessments like taking measurements with your sweat shirt on!!! For the money they charge you are better off going to WOW or another place. The area is small and the machines are crammed in. The group area for classes are small and my husband went to one class and refused to go back because he said you couldnt move around with the small space and the amount of people there. STAY AWAY!!

I worked at this location for 3 years and had a great experience not only working with Val, the owner , but the members as well . The atmosphere is welcoming and always friendly . The club is clean and updated . Members always feel comfortable asking questions about fitness and the whole staff goes above and beyond to help the members . Overall , it was a great experience to be involved with Anytime Fitness in Devens

Yes I am the owner of this location but I have to share with you how great it is to have the members that I have and the staff. The members are dedicated to coming in working out, being considerate of other members and helpful. My staff of women that teach classes and personal training love what they do and are always going over and above. THANK YOU to all!!!

not very accommodating, equipment crammed, small rooms for classes, all they want is to sucker you into signing up for a year... DONT WASTE YOUR $$$$ HERE.... there are many more fitness centers around for a fraction of what you pay here & with equipment that works!..All they care about is your $$$.

I have found the facility to be neat, clean and well organized. The staff is professional yet personal, and I have not had a bad experience yet. I would recommend this location of Anytime Fitness to anyone .... ANYTIME!!!

Small space, half the machines are broken and can only be used as "walking" (according to their signs) .
