Despite almost going out of business, USPS doesnt know how to treat customers properly. The staff at this location is rude and treats customers as if they dont know anything. USPS should update its procedures for picking up so that customers are aware of the policy. Dont make customers come there then realize that they didnt bring the proper documents even though they were never told to in the first place. Its a waste of the customers time. Its also awful that they dont automatically redeliver if you miss a delivery. You HAVE to call them. Honestly from now on, I try my best to not have to deal with USPS offices at all especially at THIS DORCHESTER location. Make sure youre there for your delivery, otherwise you will have to jump through hoops just to get your package. Lets see how much longer USPS exists with the way they treat their customers and the deficit that they are in right now. Good luck!

CERTAINLY NOT DESERVING OF EVEN 1 STAR... Piss poor customer service at best, as well as being certified package thieves & professional liars. Twice Ive had packages claimed to be delivered & both times an actual attempt to ring that thing called a doorbell was NEVER MADE, yet their quick to mark your package(s) as "Delivered". Why worry about criminals going door to door stealing expecting deliveries from right under your noses when we have USPS workers thatll simply claim to deliver it all while either throwing your item in the trunk of their own car or IF DELIVERER at all, delivering your items to the complete wrong address.

I recently moved to the Dorchester ave area of which this office is my local mailing office. So far Ive had 3 bad experiences of mailing items that never got delivered to the recipients with different addresses in a different time period. When asked questions about it no answer was giving except that they sent out their mails twice a day & next time I should put insurance in it. Being a college student reselling your $200+ book for $30 on Amazon which ends up being $23 of your own after paying the shipment & wrapping package is money wasting where you might as well have donated the book

the worst post office ever, i wish i could give them no stars. i have been trying to track my package for a week now and they have not updated my tracking number. the last thing the tracker said was that it was out for delivery since last week but it was never delivered. i have been calling the post office for 4 days but no one ever answers. i would go in the office myself but by the time i get out of work their already closed. so there was nothing else left to do except call the USPS headquarters to put in a complaint. :)

They never answer their phones, they always give me those pink slips even when im home instead of delivering packages, the carriers are lazy and do this every time, ive been waiting for a package for 4 days now and have had to reschedule it a few times because they dont like to deliver packages. Im 8 months pregnant and they dont even have the consideration to wait at the door for a minute while i walk down 3 flights of stairs!!!!

Theyre terrible I go days without getting mail it always ends up being returned to sender no one ever answers the phones and the in office clerks are rude and unknowing. Four times my mail from a housing company went to a totally different address luckily she was nice enough to open it and find my address

This place is terrible ! I have been calling this post office since the opened and no one ever picked up . I had to leave work just to get what I needed solved when I could have had someone else go for me if they just would have done ther job a pick up the phone to help calling customers !

Too busy and never fully staffed. Hot in there...no a/c. Some staff is rude, some is ok. No parking. Retail part of post office is always a mess and never stocked. Always 12-15 ppl in line and clerks move at a snails pace. Avoid this location if you can.

I have yet to find a USPS employee who is the least bit concerned with actually getting anything done. They have no reason to do anything but the bare minimum. If USPS werent subsidized by the government it wouldnt last 6 months in the marketplace.
