22 July 2013 - After spending 2 great weeks in Hull, my wife and I had packed all of our vacation gear into our minivan, and were preparing to drive back to the Washington DC area (10+ hours with 3 little kids), when we noticed that one of our tires was low on air. After further inspection, we saw there was a nail sticking out of one of the 4 brand new tires wed just put on before our trip. This was unbelievably frustrating as it was 6:00am on the day we were supposed to head home. Fortunately, I remembered that the folks at Atlantic Tire and Alignment in Hull had taken care of a tire issue Id had a few years back, and decided that d limp over to the shop, and hopefully get it taken care of as quickly as possible. So I off-loaded my wife and kids, and arrived at Atlantic Tire and Alignment at 6:30. Shortly thereafter, a man arrived, identified himself as the owner, and asked if there was something he could help me with. I explained the situation, and he quickly told me that his employees would be arriving shortly and that theyd definitely be able to get me taken care of quickly. He wasnt kidding. Within 5 minutes, one of his employees arrived. I told the employee what the situation was, and showed him the nail. He took the keys, and pulled into the bay. Before I knew it hed pulled the tire, deflated it, extracted the nail, plugged and inflated the tire, and had it mounted again. When I looked at the clock, it wasnt 7am yet... They hadnt even officially opened for the day, and my tire was fixed and back on the road. Thanks to the guys at Atlantic Tire and Alignment, we departed Hull only 40 minutes after I found the nail. I had no appointment. I hadnt called them. I was there when they arrived, and they saw I needed help, so they took care of me. You cant beat that. I highly recommend Atlantic Tire and Alignment. At a time when a lesser company couldve taken advantage of an out-of-towner, these guys acted with integrity, and took care of me. Sincere thanks. MB

I agree with part of the review below, don’t go there unless you want a surprise. Numerous times we have taken a car into Atlantic and had it very little for what we guessed could be a big issue. We started working with Jay back when he had a garage in Scituate. For honest, prompt work there was no question we would follow him to Hull. Since then the service has only gotten improved. The larger, better equipped facility has made Atlantic Tire and Alignment the garage for me, my children and others we have referred to them. I just wish they would start doing State Inspections as well!

I went to Harbor Auto for over 25 yrs, when they closed down I changed to Atlantic Tire. In the years that I have been with them I have always been very pleased with the service.I like the fact that they keep a record of all the work that has been done on my autos,so if I have any questions the info. is always available. I have no problem in sending family and friends to them for any repairs or questions on their autos. Ive never had a thought about going anywhere else. Terry

I heard this place was really good so I brought my car in for the first time a few months ago and again today and Ive had nothing but good things to say since. They are so polite, efficient, and trustworthy. They have never talked down to my because I am a girl and I always get my car back the same day. Something I think is going to be a huge issue and very expensive never is. They are very reasonably priced and Ive never had any problems. I highly recommend Atlantic Tire.

We have been working with Atlantic Tire since their door opened. It was not easy to find honoranble, trustworthy and good mechanics to service our finicky Land Rover Discovery and reliable VW Golf, both overf ten years old, but Gene, Jay and their crew are up to the task. Ive been going to Jay at Atlantic Tire for 10 years an have never had a "surprise". They are wonderful mechanics and and run the shop with integrity. We have recommended this shop to many friends who all call back an thank us. Im always warned ahead of what I should do next. If you maintain your car at Atlantic youll be driving it for many, many years.

Brought my Camry in because the check engine light came on. Their initial estimate was $300. Dropped off car next business day. They called at 10AM and said bill now $536, and car would be ready at 2PM. At 2:20 they called to say car was ready, and bill is now $635. DONT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT SURPRISES!!!
