I had a terrible experience with Northborough Automotive Service. They first quoted me $650 to replace all 4 disk brakes and all 4 pads + one caliper. Later one I was told the caliper is fine. But he still charged me $600. Considering the caliper itself is about $150. This guy charged me way much. In addition I was not told by them the amount of charge before they did the job. After they replaced all 4 disks and 4 pads, I noticed the brakes are way too soft. I almost hit a car in front of me at the red light. I brought the car in and the guy told me it is perfect. Well I had this car for 4 years and now you told me it is perfect after I almost hit someone’s end. I contact Lamy Automotive on 200 Bartlett St. Lamy fixed the problem by bleeding the air bubble out from both read brakes. In my opinion, if you care about your car and your own safety, go to the nearby Lamy automotive.

I took my car to two other places complaining about road noise (only because 1 was across the street from my house and the other was where I bought my tires) and neither of them could figure out the problem. I brought the car to Northboro automotive for an inspection sticker and Amin identified the problem while backing the car out of the inspection bay! I brought it back the next day and now the car runs perfectly, Im very happy!

I have been going to them for 4 years. The 2 brothers used to be very reasonable and flexible but not any more. Now it is hard to get a decent repair or inspection done. I wouldnt recommend them anymore.
