If I could give this place lower I could. I should have checked the reviews before buying my Groupon. I bought a groupon for a shellac (gel) manicure last month. I had never gotten a gel manicure and figured that for $18 this was a great way to try it out. Also I am new to the area so I figured its also a great way to try out local salons to find the best fit for me. After calling numerous times and not getting the phone even answered, and after two messages left on their machine with no responses. I finally was able to get an appointment for last night at 5:15pm. After battling the Watertown rush hour traffic, I show up right on time and walk in. A woman names Maria asks my name and if I have an appointment and I give her the information. A woman appears from behind the counter to take me back and I let her know that I have a groupon. She stops dead in her tracks and looks to Maria. Maria says "Oh no, sorry, you never said gel, she doesnt know how to do gel. Sorry, you never said gel". Yes I should have said gel but I was under the assupmtion that if your company was offering a deal that your manicurists would know what to do. Not that you had one person for regular manicures and one for gel. And who in their right mind lets business walk out the door!!!!!!! Would you like to pay your bills this month?!! I am not sure what was worse, her tone and attitude about me trying to use my perfectly good groupon, or the fact that she didnt seem to care about losing customers and money. Hasnt she ever heard that one bad complaint can never be replaced with a million great ones!!!! I will absolutley tell everone I met to NEVER go to this place. I ended up going to SalonXs in Waltham and they did an AMAZING job with my nails. And I can walk there from my apartment. Long story short; dont waste your time or money on this place, hopefully Groupon can give me back my money.

AWFUL!!!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS WOMAN!!!! I bought a 90$ keratin treatment off deal find for the RayMar salon back in May. I finally went in to get the treatment last Friday. First she told me my hair was too long and that she would have to charge me an extra 30$ (even though length was not mentioned at all on the deal). She then charged me another 20$ to get my hair cut a couple of inches. She made it seem that she was doing SO much work on my hair when the whole thing took less than the estimated 3 hours. SHE DID THE ENTIRE PROCEDURE WRONG! She claims to use Bi Ionic which is NOT supposed to get rinsed, and cleaned after sitting in your hair for the 30 mins. However, she did just that. I found it strange at the time but said nothing to her because I am not a professional and apparently neither is she ( Im referring to the owner of the salon here). She then had her manicurist straighten my hair which also wasnt correct. It should take a considerable amount of time to do this step because you take small chunks at a time but she was done in half an hour. I left her a very nice tip and left. Four days later I washed my hair and it was frizzier than before! NOTHING HAD CHANGED! To make matters worse when I called and asked for my money back she refused to return my calls only until I tricked her into it, and then refused to return my money claiming she did nothing wrong! As someone who has had the treatment before and had it been successful it was very clear to me that she made a mistake and she KNEW IT! She was incredibly rude over the phone, not at all treating me like a customer and swearing and screaming. I ADVISE EVERYONE TO STEER CLEAR OF THIS WOMAN AND HER BELOW PAR WORK. I wish I could give her ZERO stars

After reading all the reviews on here, I had high hopes for getting a great hair cut.....unfortunately, I didnt leave happy. Dont get me wrong, Lisa was super nice and easy to talk to. Shes a very happy person and its great to be able to work with someone so friendly. The prices were very affordable which was also a plus. However, the salon itself was dirty. It didnt have the appearance of a typical spa. My haircut wasnt good and I had to cut off pieces when I got home because they were longer than the rest of my hair. Im sure people have gotten great haircuts with her, but I just wanted to let people know who may be searching for a hairdresser that I didnt like the salon and wont be going back.

Absolutely terrible and terrible staff. I had an appointment which was verified on the phone, 3 days before the scheduled haircut. When I showed up to the appointment, the women double booked herself and turned me away. She "claims" that I never called her back. When I showed her my phone to show that we spoke at length, just under 5 minute conversation, she still denied the call... even though we spoke on her personal line. She remembered who I was, but never put me in her books. I would recommend this place if you want your time wasted, and to be treated like your time does not matter. Terrible person, and terrible way to run a business.

If I can give lower than 1 star I would. I went there today and it was one of my worst days ever, I showed Maria a picture of a kinda blonde hair. I told her to do the same to my hair, she turned it to an orange hair, it was awful, and when I told her (politely) that I dont like it, she started yelling at me and insulting, she is very rude, I started to cry none stop. Until the other girls fixed it. I wouldnt recommend this place. It is awful and horrible.

Everytime I ever left a hair salon , I left crying because it wasnt what I wanted . and my hair was ruined had my hair done here what an experience , such an awesome place to go I had Farah ! She is absolutely amazing I was a wreck going in beautiful coming out .. Definitely going back again !!!

I can only say good things about the salon The service is great and I love my hair cut, color and highlights Price is reasonable Maria and Farah are lovely ladies and very warm personalities
