Greendale Dance Academy has been nothing but a positive experience! My daughter started dancing there in the creative movement classes when she was three. She is twelve now and is part of the competition team. Over the years she has built many friendships and learned a great deal about dance techniques. More importantly, she has learned what it means to be a team player. I have also noticed a tremendous boost in her self confidence. That is a direct result of the teaching staff. Whenever they speak to her it is in a positive tone with praise and support. They have ALWAYS been kind and respectful to myself and my daughter. I trust them completely and have referred four other families to GDA. Those families have been extremely happy and havent looked back since. Miss Melissa and her staff are child centered, family focused, caring and VERY professional.

I cannot say enough good things about this studio! I have been to ALOT of studios in this city and this is the only one that offers everything! They have competition level for dancers who really want to make dance a commitment , and they have non competition classes that are far superior to other studios. The staff is so nice and always there to help. The recitals are like broadway productions! It is amazing! the price is great and the class selection is huge! Yes, you really can find it all under one roof! Acrobatics , cheer , musical theater , creative movement they have it all!

I cannot believe what happened on 1-26-2013. I was sitting at the waiting area watching my daughter dance in the room. My daughter was sneezing and got snot on her face. Rather than help her to clean it or send her out to me, the teen girl instructor and Melissa instead laughed at my daughter. When the class was over I asked Melissa if I could talk to her about what I saw on the camera. Without hesitation, she yelled "GET OUT OF HERE " then she pushed me and slammed the door. This was also witnessed by other stunned parents.

My youngest daughter 3 years old dances here, and I love the fact that the classes are not "competition" level. But I do see that if she wants to continue there are classes here for when she is older and wants to be more committed. The staff is great. I appreciate their commitment to ALL dancers. GDA accommodates everyone, thank you.

My daughter came to GDA this year after 5 years at another studio and has had a wonderful experience. The teachers have been welcoming and supportive and the children she is dancing with are great. She is on the competition team and is very happy with her switch.
