Well I just had the worst experience here. I hadnt had a haircut in quite a while as I have recently had a baby and have had my hands full with him so to say the least I was really looking forward to a nice day of pampering myself with a haircut and a pedicure. As soon as I walked in I was greeted coldly by the woman (Keri) at the counter. She couldnt even smile at me. I tried to brush it off thinking I wouldnt have to deal with her anymore but, guess what she seems to be the receptionist and their stylist. I explained to her that I was just interested in a wash, trim, and blow drying my hair straight. She didnt bother to ask my opinion regarding what styling products I liked or offering any new types to me...she just shampooed my hair with whatever she wanted and quite frankly it didnt smell good at all. The cut lasted less the 10 minutes aka it felt so rushed and Im really confused as to why because, there was not even a single customer in there besides me. Granted I had my child with me (I was hoping to get his hair cut there too) and he did start crying briefly during the shampoo but, it lasted less then 5 minutes and I put him in my lap and he was fine. Then she started blow drying my hair and she was mangling it all up with her hands. I was going to ask her to grab a brush but then she stopped and bent down opened the cabinet and brought out the most nasty looking round brush I have seen in a while. It was matted with hair and fuzz and god only knows what else. At first I thought....she must be going to throw that thing in the trash right? But, to my horror she reached for it to use it on my head. Naturally I protested and asked her to use a clean brush...in fact I thought it was required by state law for salons to have their combs/brushes/scissors in a sanitation solution but they didnt. So now I came to realize that she just cut my hair with dirty scissors too....great! Then another employee came over and said that I shouldnt be worried because, they use a powder sanitation. HELLO but, I dont want someone elses (probably hundreds of other clients) hair being mingled with mine. It is just gross! Nor do I want lice or god knows some scalp disease because, this place is too cheap to invest in some new brushes and good sanitation solution. Salons have equipment in place specifically to clean hair out of brushes but, apparently this place has never heard that that exists. Anyways, apparently they dont have a single clean brush in the place because she half-assed finished blowing drying my hair by running her fingers through it. It was so frizzy and horrible looking and that is how she left me. Then she had the nerve to ask me if I still wanted my pedicure?? Seriously, hell no please just get me out of this place all ready. My husband could have cut my hair better then that. What a disappointment. Two customers called and canceled their appointments during my short time there and this probably should have been a clue to me that there was a problem with the place but hindsight is 20/20 right? Plus, the walls are soooo bright it is not a relaxing environment at all...it feels more like a clown house. My hair actually looked worse when I left then when I came in and considering how many months it had been since I had had my hair professionally tended too...I really didnt think that could be possible. Steer clear of this place at all costs. Maybe their other services or stylists are better but, why waste your money trying to find out?

I went for a microdermabrasion 2 weeks ago and Im still recovering. The technician didnt explain anything about the procedure or what to expect. The entire thing took 5 minutes when its normally supposed to last 30-45 minutes. When I looked in the mirror, my neck looked like I had a gigantic hickey. The sides of my face and chin were red/purple. It looked like I was beaten. The neck and chin took a week to clear up. Normally you are red for a few hours after a microdermabrasion. The side of face is still red after almost 2 weeks. The reason being is because the suction was too high and was being held too long in certain spots. I canceled my upcoming treatment and received a refund from Groupon. A manager did call me directly and apologize for what happened. I appreciate that but I do not recommend.

I visited this salon a few months ago for my daughters hair cut and was impressed by the time the hairdresser Keri took with my daughter, engaging her in a conversation about hair care, giving her tips and strategies for dealing with dry hair and frizziness, and how to care for her hair at home. My daughter loved her haircut and has been asking me for months to take her back for a trim so that she can better care for her hair, like Keri suggested. I will definitely have to make an appointment!
