I really enjoyed this gym while I was a part of it; however, I am INCREDIBLY disappointed with their customer service. I attempted several times to transfer my membership after a club opened up in a city I moved to. Brighton claimed that I was unable to transfer due to inactivity, which was never detailed in my contract. I also asked repeatedly upon signing if my moving would be a problem for a later transfer, and they told me it would not be. The only way that they claimed I would be able to transfer is to come into the Brighton club to become active, which I was completely unable to do. They then cancelled my membership with no notification after I attempted to transfer again. Its a shame this company refuses to work with their customers.

Would give 0 stars if possible. I signed a 12 month membership agreement with this company. After 5 months, I could no longer use their services (I moved out of the area). I attempted to cancel my membership (and pay the 58$ buyout fee), however, the company refused to cancel my membership and never charged me the buyout fee. They are still charging me 20$ per month 5 months later and will continue to charge me until the contract is has ended. It baffles me how a company can get away with what is essentially fraud and continue to charge people monthly fees even after they requested their membership to be canceled. Avoid Planet Fitness.

Crowded as ****. Im used to going to Redfords gym, which is huge allowing plenty of space to spread out and rarely waiting on someone to get out of the way. Brightons gym in contrast was crammed like an Indian market. Also, the place was quite filthy. Men are typically disgusting animals, and it showed in the locker room. It definitely was the dirtiest PF Ive been to. However, when I walked in the staff were super friendly. Just wish it were not in the tiny location its in. I could tolerate the grime, if it werent for the shoulder to shoulder atmosphere.

I enjoy working out at PF because it truly is a no judgement zone. I notice all different ages and fitness levels. I have never felt intimidated when I am here. The staff is extremely friendly. The place is clean and they provide plenty of towels and sanitizer to keep the germs away. Since it opened they have added many more cardio type machines. I like all the variety, cardio, stretching, floor exercise, weight machines, free weights, a special area for ab work outs and cardio circuit. Great value for the low cost of belonging to a gym!

Overall I like the price, the equipment and the cleanliness. But the main problem I have is with the large overhead fans being set too high with too much wind and being directly above my favorite machines. Every single other PF I have been to will turn the fans down if you ask them. At this location though the desk staff is either unable or unwilling to do so. They would rather sit there and BS and laugh with each other than provide customer service. This is why I avoid this place if possible and use other locations.

Both of my girls went to this gym. Both my girls washed the machines both before and after. They both received very bad infections on there legs been back and forth to the er this week. Doctors that have seen them this week determined it did come from this gym. My daughters are not biological sisters but both received this bad infection on the legs. They also live in seperate households.This is the only place they hang out together at. They have missed work all this week very sad. Just giving everyone heads up on this.

Night staff keep me entertained which keeps me going back. Most fitness establishments dont engage with there members which I feel is a missed opportunity. I also appreciate the fact that they take pride and value in there job and the art of the Dab. Hats off to the night shift for being (as 2 chains said) "different, yeah Im different"

The price cannot be beaten, but I would be willing to pay a little more if they were open later on Friday/Saturday and provided towels. This location has the best staff out of all the locations I have been to! They are not obnoxious with the lunk alarm like the staff in Ann Arbor (Stadium blvd.).

I absolutely love this place. Unfortunately Ive been sick five times in the three months since joining. This is after cleaning the equipment before use and using hand sanitizer. Three of the times were strep throat. I think Ill have to cancel my membership just so I dont get sick anymore....

Great basic gym. When I work out I go just to work out. great hours, always clean, always friendly. Ive heard many complaints about them not providing towels or classes but really, it is a gym for $10-$20 a month...what do you expect? They give exactly what Im looking for.

after canceling member, they continued to deduct monthly fees for several months even after visiting them 4 times to address the billing issue. Finally had to do a, $35 bank stop payment to stop their billing tactics.

Its a clean location. The treadmills are always packed so expect to be next to someone almost every time, but other than that its pretty good. Its easy to get to and the parking lot is fairly large.

Clean cheap very nice. I think about switching every time friday rolls around. I along with many other work late on weekends please open 24/7. Will gladly move to 5 star if open 24 hours.
