We experienced this child care Center while we were on an outting at the Ann Arbor hands on muesum and its clear one thing they dont teach these kids are manners. While limited staff members were present, the children ran a muck, were rude to everyone snatching items, not waiting their turn and pushing and jumping on others. When a staff member was informed. Her response was to roll her eyes at us. We had a special needs person with us and these children pushed her several times and were the cause of not only ourselves leaving requesting a refund but several other patrons. I called corporate and they were very concerned. In response a regional center directer contacted me and had no care. In fact she tried to pin this situation on others stating there are several companies by that name. When I informed her I asked for what center they were and and felt she was failing to accept responsibilty for her staff, she quickly apologized and said she would "speak to" her staff about possibly retraining them. I would not send my children to this center if they paid me. Very irresponsible. One these could have been hurt or seriously injured another.

My son is 1 1/2 and has been attending Rainbow since he was just 6 weeks old. Ive noticed in this short period of time that he has been developing very quickly! Hes been learning colors and goes over them everyday and he is even taking his own dishes to the sink and throwing garbage away on his own. I trust the care that my son is in and i know he does too, considering the fact that he runs up to his teachers and gives them hugs, kisses and says their names. Its not unlikely to see him being snuggled and loved when i walk through the door! The daily sheets are also a great way to see how his day went along with the parent board and displays of my childs art work. I always feel comfortable leaving my son at the center and know he is in good hands. Cathy is also very welcoming and a comfort to the building as well. She always welcomes you with a smile. Weather its Cathy or the teachers in the classroom, I know that i can ask any questions that i have and respect them dearly as the professionals that they are. - Carly

Our son Jacob has been enrolled in RCCC since he was 14 months old and he is now a little over 3 years old. He is a very socially reserved little boy - which has been a challenge for us, but the bonds he shares with the teachers has helped him tremendously in overcoming his reticence of leaving us. He always wants to give hugs to his teachers at the end of the day. Our son loves the variety of activites offered - from "zoophonics" to outdoor play to arts & crafts. The facility is top notch: clean, secure, and welcoming. The staff has new decorations up for all seasons and holidays, which is fun for the kids and families. The directors door is always open and she is readily available to answer questions or concerns you may have. The director and teachers truly care about the children and that is reflected in the entire program. I highly recommend Rainbow Child Care to anyone looking for child care!

Upon choosing a daycare for our daughter, my husband and I were positive we wanted an established program instead of in home care. We have been so happy with the balance of a nurturing, caring environment with top notch staff and curriculum to keep our child learning. She is currently in the toddler room and just last month she not only sang the whole alphabet perfectly, but she was able to tell me she had learned about the letter M, including the sound. From day one we have been happy with the continued balance. Our daughter has grown and matured socially, academically, and independently while attending Rainbow in Chelsea. There is no doubt in our my minds they provide simply the best in care for children in our area. The program there and our daughter continue to amaze us daily.

We have two children who have been attending Rainbow for the previous 1 1/2 years. Their experience has been exceptional. My wife and I are constantly impressed with the growth and development of our children, both socially and academically, we directly attribute this development to their time spent at Rainbow. A few months back we were on a family road trip and our 4 year old son started signing the days of the week in German and Spanish. We feared he was having a stroke or something, being that my wife and I speak neither of these languages. But much to our relief our son explained he had learned this at school. This is not an isolated incident, our children are constantly surprising us with what they learn at Rainbow. We fully support Kathy and Rainbow. Luke Kuboushek

Rainbow Child Care Center Chlesea is AWESOME!!!!!!!! We have been take our daughter there since she was born. All the teachers are great, caring, and loving. They all care about not only the child but the whole family. I have never had a problem leaving her at the center and a couple of time she told me that I could just drop her off at door. She has learned so much at the center. She is 4 and already reads the Dicky and Jane books. She gets upset if she cant go to "school", or when I pick her up to early, and when she cant give a teacher a hug goodnight. We are amazed at all the things she has leaned at the center. We are always hearing comments about how smart she is. Also they are Military Family Friendly. We will be very sad when we have to leave the center.

My daughter Jenna has been attending Rainbow since she was 10 weeks old (shes now 4 years old) and weve always been so grateful to have found this daycare! All of her teachers have been wonderful and she still goes from room to room giving all her past teachers (and Kathy) hugs before leaving each day. Before she could even walk, she was bringing home works of art from painting with her feet! Now, at 4 1/2, shes learning spanish (counting to 20, days of the week, ect), is writing books, sounding out words, and has so much creativity. In addition to the love, care, and academics, weve also always been impressed with the cleanliness and security of the facility. I have and will continue to recommend Rainbow of Chelsea. Laura V

My children started at RCCC in May 2011 and I have been very with the care there. My 3 year old moved to the preschool program in the fall and has learned so much. His teacher does a wonderful job and he loves being in her class. He is writing his name, recognizing letters, and counting and naming colors in Spanish. Each day the teacher writes a description of what they did that day and my son loves walking me around the classroom and showing me his art work hanging on the wall. My 10 month old is in the infant class and does very well there. He comes home with art work each week and has all types of unique sensory experiences. I have been very happy with RCCC and the wonderful staff!
