This is my first time calling a locksmith so I looked at the reviews. SafeKeys were given 5 stars which is my understanding awesome service. I received no service from them at all. I called them a little after 9am. We talked and got the understanding that a tech. will be at my house in 20mins. I waited at least 40 mins. and no one came. I figured with this being memorial weekend they were running behind. I called the company back to see what was the problem, no one answered. It rang a few times then went to voicemail. I called back a few more times but no one evered answered or called me back. Not sure what I did to deserve this??? I only give them 1 star is because thats the least you can give. I pray and hope they dont do this again to anyone else. Wow, I wasnt expecting that!!! I see the owner left a message for me to reach out to him but before I could contact him, he had reached out to me to try to rectify the situation. I do thank him for the effort. Hope in the near future we can resolve this matter to a satisfaction. I look forward to a resolution soon!!

I contacted this locksmith to look at and fix or change a lock on a storm door. I explained the problem to him and he said he could look at the lock and let me know the best solution to fix it. He quoted me $30 for the outcall. He told me he was free after 11; however I could not confirm until I could verify that someone would be home. He said this was fine and to call him back. I called him back at 11:42 and he did not answer. I called him back 30 minutes later and he answered, apologized, and explained that he missed my call b/c he was finishing up his last customer. He took my address and said he would give me a call once he got to the house within 20 minutes. Over a hour passed and he never called me back. I called him twice and no answer. Im pretty sure the Detroit address deterred him, even though the property is in Rosedale Park (which is a much better area than Redord where his place of business is located). This was very unprofessional. If you live in Detroit, dont bother with this guy b/c he most likely wont show up. Sad!

This locksmith works very professionally; he makes sure to let you know hes on the way and theres no confusion over the phone. He got to me as soon as possible and the work he did was done very excellently too. I highly recommend this locksmith to anyone in need of the service. If you want it done flush, and fast for a good price. Then this is your guy! You cannot complain about this mans work as it is high quality and he is also very polite. The best part is he actually looks like a locksmith! (I am only saying this because many locksmiths Ive called dont look very professional.)

ATTENTION ALL EAST-SIDERS of Detroit: if you need a Key fob programmed or youre locked out... Or whatever the case may be CALL them! I called all the locksmiths on our side, and every was booked or was Knowledgeable about programming. Justin was JUST IN time even though theyre located on the Westside. He was professional, quick & completed the job beyond my expectations. Im a happy customer and will call again if I need assistance! Thank you soooooo much!

If i could give them one star I would. Not honest about pricing. When I started questioning about the pricing; he informed us it was not the key; we still paid a service fee. Had our car towed which was another expense the problem end up being the key. Great way to do buisness. Steer clear! Response: like i told you on the phone. It was the key I did not say anything about wiring. Do not lie to make yourself look better.

Horrible service left and never returned to fix my car.. Broke my door and broke my ignition. josh said he would be back and never showed and left my car completely torn apart. I would never recommend these amatures to anyone. They would not answer my calls. Just flat out horrible. Do not ever call them.

Jokingly locked my keys in my car at a gas station, the stupid car locked itself. However after calling up Locksmith N Key, he was able to make some time and show up in less than 5 minutes to help me out. He definitely is a very helpful guy and responds well when called.
