Recently moved from Toronto , Just checked out the social club because I seen the reveiws were good...Ill cut to the chase people....This place knows how to treat there customers like family doesnt matter if youre a regular or a first timer like myself. Sebastian gave me the freshest cut Ive had in years and hes a true professional and knows how to serve his customers, also I seen another barber named Lonell cut some other peoples hair and that guy is dope !! . anyways to make a long story short book your appointment ASAP itll be worth it ! Big shout out to the shop owner Sebastian hes a real one !

I was looking for a barber for my son, I found this place on the Internet. My son is of African American descent, so I was on pins and neddles, because I was unsure if Vinnie the barber knew how to cut ethnic hair. I was very pleased with his barber skills, he now has a new client. He cut my sons hair exactly how we both like it. His tapering skills are amazing!!! The atmosphere is very hipster and laid back.... Location is neutral and parking is a little hard to find due to being in the middle of Wayne State University. I love the diversity!!

Scheduling in this place is no longer easy. Although Im a regular customer with Vennie and Sara, i am not being given a worthy priority. One time I called and they told me that Vennie and Sara are fully booked, then I pass by on my way to fedex and find them both playing with their phones.. Stayed in fedex for about 30 min.. Came out to find them still playing with their phones! I COULD HAVE GOTTEN MY HAIR CUT DONE IN THAT TIME PEOPLE! Wish Sebastian would pay more attention to whats going on.. Nevertheless, I would NEVER come back to this place.

Justin did my hair twice. The first time I was not really happy but the second time he messed it up so badly. Sarah and Hillary are very professional though. The prices are higher than other barber shops.

They used to cut long and medium hair before, but now they only cut short hair. Theyre awesome at what they do though!

Way too expensive for an average haircut. You can go to downtown for better and less costly haircuts.
