My experience at the grandview location started out great the first cut but got worse and worse each time. The first stylist I had was great but unfortunately I caught her on her last day before moving on to a job associated with her degree she just earned. The second and third time I made an appointment and waiting 30-40 mins before even being seated. I had different stylists each time and both cuts were pretty bad for what you pay. Today I visited and showed up at my appointment time of 3:30 and was told it would be 15 mins before being helped so I waited. 45 mins go by and I noticed a few people who walked in with 4:00 appointment times being helped before me. I left because I was out of time and will not be returning. Seems like this place has high turnover and overal dont know how to manage their appointment book. Disappointing.

My experience in trying to get my son a hair cut was very unpleasant when we arrived the receptionist was unfriendly was told that if we came back in an hour we would be able to get in than but after siting and waiting another half our and they took 4 other clients back than it was our turn so to make a long story short it doesnt mater if you call and make a appointment or you stop in or call in to put your name on the list its first come first serve and dont leave becouse that puts in at the back of the line .Thats what should have been explained from the start from the very unfriendly receptionist.I would go here again

Overrated! With that said great hair cuts great staff... However always booked out the door and impossible to get an appointment past 2 oclock!! Why dont you guys take appointments ahead of time more then just same day!!! Just answer me that question WHY!! there tends to be a lot of kids there very annoying and if your a pervert youll like to know the women throw themselves all over the guys and rub your shoulders and massage your face and head... Kinda part of the service if youre into that kind of thing I think its more awkward and annoying.

Ive been to this "barber shop" twice now. First experience was not my favorite, but I decided to give them another shot. Once again, none of the hair stylists act like they want to be there. The stylist I had this second time around cut my hair for maybe 10 minutes, super quick and careless. They did absolutely nothing I requested and didnt even attempt to continue a simple conversation. If anyone is reading this, please, go to your local barber or a small shop that actually cares about you.

At first I didnt know what the fook was going on. When I think barbershop, this is def not the environment I am use to. Once I was able to request a barber and not a "stylist" I was more comfortable. Megan has her cos license and her barber license and did an incredible job. Her skillz are very impressive with a straight blade. Pricing for a hair and my beard trim(with straight blade shave) was $29. Not too terrible. I will be going back and making an appt with Megan for my next cut fo sho!

Ive been going since they opened a few years ago, always a wonderful experience Friendly staff, great cut including a straight razor shave (with warm cream) for your neck and they give you a nice little neck massage (vibrating tool assisted) at the end. Definitely a step above from your generic Super Great Saturday Sporty Clips kind of places but wont break your wallet. They also got me hooked on the worlds best shaving cream: Proraso. If youre a daily shaver, you MUST try this stuff!

Had a wonderful experience for it being my first professional Barbershop shave. I believe I had the owner do my shave and he was awesome. He was very detailed oriented and I could tell he enjoyed what he does and is very knowledgeable about his practice as a barber. I would highly recommend this place for a shave. I have not had a hair cut from them. However, I would assume they do great hair cuts because if they take as much care as they do with their shaves it would be perfection.

I prefer the Grandview location since its a little friendlier but this Polaris location is still a great place to get your haircut. Appointments are easy to make, the interior is rugged but relaxing, and youre guaranteed to get a great haircut. The hair stylists are also very knowledgeable when it come to recommending products for your specific type of hair. Ive been going to Bluestar for 3 years now and I dont plan on switching any time soon.

I am really glad that I found this barbershop today. Tasha was amazing and did a wonderful job. Wow, I was in for a surprise, because I thought I was just getting a haircut/edge up and then I received a steamed towel head massage, shoulder massage, and a straight razor shave which was all included in the price. No extra!!! My beard trim was extra but that was needed. Highly recommend this place. I will be back for sure.

I was very pleased with this Barbershop. They pay homage to vintage barbershops with a very cool atmosphere. But what good is that if you dont get a good hair cut? Luckily, you do! They are all super nice and friendly. For $19, I got a haircut, warm towel, neck shave and a shoulder massage. If its your first time visiting you get next time half off too. Will be going back.

Solid, dependable salon with mid-range prices. While not a true, premium, full service, perks-driven "gentlemens salon", its prices are not premium either. Ensure your stylist knows EXACTLY what you want in a hairstyle as the volume and variety of clientele this location caters to means that there are a lot of different preferences for the stylists to keep track of.

Move to Marysville from Indianapolis and struggled to find a good barber in my area. Started looking on line and found Blue Star called and they hooked me up with there bald fade specialist Javier!! It will be worthere the drive everytime! If your in need of a new barber shops give this place a shot you will not leave disappointed. Very clean and well organized!

Fantastic, consistent haircut. Blue Star has a vintage barbershop feel with a harmonious attention to detail (down to the music). A gentleman named Christian is my go-to, but Ive always been pleased with the results from other stylists. I honestly didnt understand what a proper taper and fade looked like before I went here. I wish they had a Dublin location.

Blue Star is the only barbershop I go to when Im home. Standard haircut including a head massage with a steamed towel, warm cream neck shaving, back massage, and they even offered to cleam up my eyebrows. All this on top of already talented hairdressers, theres no where else I would go. I drove an hour just to get my haircut there.

I was not very pleased with Kamri. I asked for a scissor cut on top and taper the sides and back. There was no fade in the taper, and to be honest, the scissor cut wasnt that great but, I liked her attitude and she was acting like she wanted to give it her all, plus the barber shop has very polite staff. I liked it here.
