Durand Mobil has been in my family for years. Weve used them for countless car repairs and tune ups. Just recently, my old Buick Regal was repaired at Durand Mobil. I sold it shortly thereafter and saw it on the road a year later still chugging away. Durand Mobil does good work. And, not only that, theyre a Christian business. Why does that matter? It matters a great deal! The most recent auto repair was on our extended van. It was a doozie. The entire engine had to be torn apart and put back together again. I received a phone call from one of the expert mechanics every time they were working on it and also the day before we were to pick it up. He politely and slowly explained what had transpired and why he thought the engine had ceased to function. It wasnt 24 hours and we were on the phone with Durand Mobil again - but this time, it was them offering to financially reimburse us for a mistake that could have or COULD NOT HAVE been their error. Imagine that? A business taking responsibility for a problem that they maybe even didnt cause? But, you need to understand they understood our family history and knew we were in a bind. Instead of sitting back and letting the auto repair industry suck us financially dry, they offered to help offset the cost of the next repair. Im amazed at their offer and at their follow-through. They sent the reimbursement check exactly when they said they would and did everything exactly like they said they would. What could have been a business killer became a business saver. Integrity. Honesty. Accountability. These terms and even more describe Durand Mobil in abundance. I will use and continue to use Durand Mobil for our automobile repair needs and I highly recommend them for yours as well. Theyre precise. Theyre honest. Theyre fast and reliable. Use them. You wont regret it.

I was on my way to Kalamazoo which was two and a half hours from home when my jeep decided to die on the highway near Durand (hour from home). I had seen this shop before and knew it was close, so I managed to get there. It was 5 on a Friday night and everyone was leaving for the night/weekend but the owner decided to stay late and help me get back on the road. He swapped my battery and terminal clamps and I was back on the road safely. They could have just said "sorry were closed" but they decided to stay late and Im so grateful. I would have been in a real mess. This really shows the character of this shop and its owner. Thanks again!!
