I wouldnt recomment this salon to anyone. Kelly, the owner, was miserable to deal with after I came in to talk to her and the stylist about a hair color gone bad. I eventually got my money back, but still have to deal with the wrong color! She offered to "fix it", but it would involve more money and more upkeep and no guarantee. Forget it! Stacey, the stylist, didnt seemed concerned about the mistake either. She acted like shed never seen me or had a conversation with me about my hair before--except that "it was so dry, what did you expect?" So it was MY fault?! And then she said shed given me a "deal" on the color. HUH?! $105 was "a deal!?" I dont know what kind of life she lives, but its not in my world... There are too many salons out there to choose from...my advice, choose another!

I decided to try this salon after seeing all the glowing reviews here on google. Everything seemed great until I met the owner Kelly. Her employees almost seemed scared of her. She was rude, condescending, and in general gave off an unwelcoming vibe. The other staff was friendly and seemed very genuine. I hate to write a bad review and involve the whole salon, but my bad experience was mostly involving the owner. When you pay good $$$ for a salon service you should be treated well and made to feel "at home". This salon is on the more expensive end, so the customer should not be treated like they are getting a $5 haircut. I can go to Fantastic Sams and get lousy service and a crappy haircut. I would recommend finding another salon and stay away from Beyond!

Reading the reviews below makes me think that these other customers went to a different salon - Ive been going to Stephanie at Beyond for about two years and am SO happy with every service Ive had. I started out just getting haircuts and began to have color and highlights the past year - my hair looks wonderful! I usually let Stephanie do whatever she thinks will look best and Im always so happy with the results. Steph cuts my hair in a way that even after 8 to 10 weeks looks like I just had it done - people ask me weeks in if I just had it cut or colored. The whole team at Beyond is wonderful - Lydia at the front desk is so sweet and everyone is always professional and accommodating. An awesome salon all around!

I have been going to the owner, Kelly, since 2001. I started going to her when she owned a competing salon and followed her to her new salon. I get great advice on my colors and cuts and I always get compliments on my hair. I have to say I am very picky about my hair and have never been with a stylist this long. I have seen a few bad reviews and I am astonished that their experiences were bad ones...just because of how long I have had Kelly working on my hair. I question the validity of some of the bad reviews because they seem to be similar and slightly vicious.

Stephanie is very talented and knows how to listen to her clients. She is so sweet and knows how to work with what other nature has given you to make you look your best. She is professional and shows genuine concern for her clients. I do remember having a conversation with the owner when she was at another salon and she is not the most pleasant personality but knows how to run a business. Im really glad she finally figured out that snobby uppity receptionists do not give your salon an air of exclusivity. Reception desk much improved.

Wont be going back. Actually wrote a letter to the so-called stylist and, after reading the bad reviews below, I guess I was foolish to expect a response much less my money back. Worst cut ever! Highlights are nonexistent. This after a consult ahead of time where I explained to her exactly what I wanted. Throughout the cut and highlights, I kept asking are you sure you are doing such and such and she still botched it up.

I really enjoyed my experience here. The salon is beautiful and has a nice calming atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly. My stylist Brenda did a wonderful job on my cut and color. My hair is very fine and doesnt have much volume. I told Brenda to do whatever she felt was best, and she gave me an awesome cut that I can easily style. I will definitely be back soon!

I never liked my hair, until I went to this salon. My first stylist was great and when she left i stared working with Jamie and have never looked better. She is doing my hair and make up as well as the hair of my bridesmaids for my wedding! The prices are average for a salon but i get my moneys worth every time.

I come here religiously for my hair. I trust Jamie fully with my hair she has never led me wrong from color to cut. I have worked with a few other stylist and they have all been incredibly friendly and just as knowledgeable. I highly recommend this salon to everyone. They are Beyond amazing!

Went to get my hair cut for the first time there and was so excited, ONLY to be turned away ,like my hair was to bad ,or I wasnt good enough to be in there store!!! I felt VERY sad!!!

I was a client of Stacys then once Stacy went on Maternity leave I had Stephanie do my gloss and cuts. Both of them did an amazing job and I would highly recommend them!!
