Saturday 09/24/16 I scheduled a visit to Blu Water Medi Spa Salon to get extractions done and get a facial. I was told about the Glycolic Chemical peel. Mind you I had never had a chemical peel before. I was informed it was the mildest peel with no recovery time. I was very nervous about it but the aesthetician assured me I would be fine. I had a concert hours after the facial. I told her I wanted to be able to wear makeup! After the facial my face was bright red and burned. She told me to go home and apply coconut oil before I apply any foundation. When I got home my face hurt very bad I decided I didnt want to apply any foundation. The following morning I woke up to a sever raised red rash all over my face and neck. When I contacted the salon the first time they told me it was dermatitis. I should go buy hydrocortisone cream and treat the rash with that. After a day had passed I called and told them I would like to be seen. The rash had spread and got worse. I was unable to sleep and my face was swelling, burning, and itching severely. I met with another aesthetician Tuesday afternoon. She had informed me the rash was not dermatitis it was in fact a chemical burn. (I was treated with the Glycolic peel twice at 30%! This was my very first time as I stated receiving a peel my face was fried literally). She told me wait another few days and she would call and check up on me. The following by day I called and asked the salon for a refund along with paying for my dermatologist visit which I would have to pay out of pocket. The salon refunded me and refused to pay for my dermatologist visit after they severely chemically burned my face! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING TO THIS SALON FOR FACIAL SERVICES. Please learn from me and go to a real dermatologist for these services.

I went to Blu Water for the first time and had a great expericene with a fantastic stylist (Jill). She had great suggestions and was very personable. The other salon staff was very friendly as well. The facility was clean, stylish, and current. Prices were very competitive with other like salons. I had a root touch up, hair cut, deep conditioning treatment, eye brow wax, and paraffin dip. I will definitely schedule another appointment. I recommend Jill at Blu Water.

Worst hair salon experience I have ever had. Too many girls with attitudes and very little talent and obvious hearing problems. I went in to have an updo and makeup done for my wedding. It was a disaster and I had to go home have a shower and do it all myself. They refused to wash my hair despite me asking for it to be done. I asked for no pink to be used on my face and it was covered in it.

Massage and facial good but not what was advertised with the special. Pedicure was on par with the Beauty College also none of the perks advertised with the special. To make a mediocre experience worse the pedicure room was absolutely freezing wiping out all the benefits from the message. Wish I did have money left on the gift certificate.

Over priced for what you get. Clean and cute. Ended up with a sore toenail for a week after my pedicure but no infection.
