My husband and I brought in our car in for rust repair and paint estimate with "Mike" who did not even have the courtesy to reply by phone. Although he says he called, there was no indication our phone that he did so. "Mike" said he was "working on an estimate," then proceeded to explain he was "running into dead ends" in his email. He said the fenders could not be repaired but needed to be replaced. He added we would need additional parts, and ended with "I think that there is nothing I can do for you on your Porche." We were flabbergasted. He did not even bother giving us a price! And how is the fact that parts needed to be replaced a "dead end?" Isnt that the core of their business? The email was so unprofessional, I wondered if there was an employee at Koenes who has it out for Mike, and whipped up this response to sabotage him. Their website states "We are a "state-of-the-art facility, we repair all makes and models, and we are West Michigan’s only factory certified repair facility for Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Volkswagen." Porsche might appreciate knowing that Mike, therefore Koenes Auto Body, not only has no interest in working on their cars, but also cannot seem to correctly spell their brand name.

Its crazy how a body shop is okay with sending cars out looking like complete crap. Koenes Auto Body is the worst place to send your car to. Round one, car did not match at all. After days of arguing they agree to paint the rear bumper. We get it back two days later and now its darker then every other panel they painted there. Some excuses he said were: 1. Its better then it was so why do you care 2. We did it for free you should be happy 3. Maybe our tech tinted it wrong 4. Its not that far off 5. We dont get paid to match paint After they say maybe the tint is wrong I said "oh hey thats the reason it was messed up round one" they go to say "oh I wouldnt say that" This has been the worst experience ever and I end up with a red Jetta thats three colors. Never for any reason bring your car there. They can not match paint even to a close matter.

My Audi looks brand new again after a fender bender. John estimated the damage in the pouring rain and saw me for about 30 seconds. When I brought the car in a day early he greeted me with, "Hi Deb. Do you need a ride home? (which I did if I brought my car in on the assigned day). I was happy and surprised that he remembered my name. When I explained I was a day early he said, "No problem." He already had my file on the front desk. He saw me drive in. I dont know if he recognized me or the car. Now that is customer service! The car was done the next day. It was unexpected and I didnt have a ride to pick it up. They drove it to my house. It was perfect. I would recommend this company to everyone because of their quality work and customer service. One doesnt get that great attitude very often these days.

Taking into consideration the high prices that Koenes charges I would expect to receive exceptional service. However, I have had problems every time I have taken my vehicle there. My previous trip to koenes resulted in a malfunction with my alarm. They were quick to fix it but I feel that there was no reason that the alarm should have been tinkered with at all, you simply lock and unlock the car. On my second and most recent trip to Koenes my car had a flat tire after being serviced. The tires were completely fine before I took it into the shop. After a trip to discount tire it appeared that there was a screw in the tire. The guys at Koenes also inspected the tire and said, "they did not see that the tire had picked up any debris". How could they miss a shiny metal screw in an all black tire?

I damaged my new 2017 GMC Denali one ton pickup when my 5th wheel trailer slid off its plate and dropped onto the box. In talking to my son about where to take it, he said he really liked Koenes Auto Body. They had done really good work for him. When I spoke to Jeff Warners there about the repairs and how I wanted to maintain the show room condition on my new truck, (I did not want to see over spray or body shop dirt on my wheels, rims and other parts of the truck and frame), he understood and assured me that it would be as clean when I picked it up as when I dropped it off. They worked with my insurance company when they found additional damage during the repairs and returned my truck to me in "Mint" condition! I couldt be more pleased. Our family has had nothing too terribly major but several little mini bumps and scrapes theres only one place we ever take our cars all makes and models and that Is Koenes Auto Body. Everybody from the moment you walk in the door to drop off your car until you walk in and pick up your car is courteous polite and very trustworthy. I never question that the work will be done right or that I will be greeted with a surprise cost. Their pricing is on par with other local auto body shops. While there are many shops closer to our home we choose to go to Koenes because we trust their staff and their work.

Ive been bringing cars and trucks to Koenes Auto body for years. Myself and my family have always has exceptional service. I had the pleasure to meet the tech who worked on my last vehicle there. I left there knowing my vehicle was in good hands. And understanding why my self and my family have always been happy with the service and quality of work. With top notch techs like Brian Leonardo, who in my opinion may be the best tech in the state (after talking to him and seeing some of his work) and great customer service in the office. You cant afford to take your business anywhere else. I know I wont.

I have used Koenes many times for everything from major body work to minor touch-ups. They are extremely easy to work with and very prompt. Work is always completed when promised. I especially like their flexibility when trying to keep the pricing low for non-insurance work. For example, I needed both my exterior mirrors replaced and they found reconditioned ones for me at 1/2 the price the dealer was going to charge. I just had them perform an exterior detail on my five year old VW GLI and it looks like a new car! Even my beat-up wheels look great.

I had my car for only a month when I hit a deer. I was sick to my stomach. I thought my car would never be the same. I took it to Koenes Auto Body on the recommendation of a friend. The whole experience was above expectations. My car looked brand new! You would never know by looking at it that last week the front end was crumpled. I am glad my friend recommended this place. I dont believe any shop could have done as good of a job. Everyone from the owner, Mike Koenes jr to the person who worked on my car, was friendly and courteous. Thanks
