First time in a Firehouse Subs. It definitely failed to live up to the hype. I ordered a Steak & Cheese. The menu says the subs are "served hot" and shows steam rising off the subs. Sub took over 10 minutes to make despite the place being empty and arrived somewhere between room temperature and lukewarm at best. It was nowhere near "hot". The bread was a little soggy, and the toppings were all jammed in the center of the sub, so both ends were nothing but bread. Where the bread wasnt soggy, it was pretty good, probably the best part of the meal. There was nothing bad about the taste of the toppings, but nothing remarkable either. Mediocre at best, and definitely not as good as Subway, despite the premium price. The employees were very friendly and welcoming so it has that going for it. Given everything else, thats not going to be enough to bring me back. It was just enough for me to go with 3 stars rather than the 2 I was going to give. Bottom line: If a friend invited me to lunch or dinner here, I wouldnt decline, but I am unlikely to choose it over the Subway 1/4 mile down the road when I want a Sub. Note to owner: The reason you dont think long waits are the norm (as indicated in your replies) is because your employees have the cars pull ahead to the parking lot and bring their food out to them so the timer doesnt count the time; a tactic the employees discussed at length while I ate inside.

This was my first experience here. My mother and I saw they had a promotion for buy one get one free so we decided to try it. We told the young lady working that we had never been there. Instead of giving us any recommendations or even telling us anything about the menu, she just waited for us to order. When we were going to pay she told they didnt offer the old promotion they were displaying outside and are still falsely promoting. Afterwards they didnt make our sandwiches correctly so we had to drive back to the restaurant, for we ordered to go, and have them remake out sandwiches. The young lady didnt apologize for the mistake. Overall, service wasnt very friendly, we payed more than we thought we would, and they didnt make our sandwiches correctly. Disappointed and will not return.

Well, currently writing this review while waiting in store. Arrived at location with 4 people ahead of me in line. Ordered within 2 minutes, however, I have been waiting 40 minutes since then.... Still no sandwich Edit: got my sandwich after 45 minutes of waiting. Witness a patron of anxiety over being late back to work and leave without their food ready for them. Is it really unreasonable for a sub shop with that many employees to have a sandwich made inside of a patrons lunch period? Come on, need some better management or something.

Waited about fifteen minutes after paying for our food. They had the vehicle in front of us pull up to wait for their food and then they had us do the same afterwards. It was 5:30pm and dead inside. When they gave us our food, the guy just handed it to me without any apology about the wait. The sandwiches themselves were not good. Mine was tolerable, but the bread was all soggy. My girlfriends was also soggy but she also had mushrooms and tomatoes on hers even though she asked for both to be excluded.

Awful. I ordered a 450 calorie chicken sandwich that came glopped with so much mayo it turned the bun into a soggy dripping mess. Three employees at three different times stopped by our table to ask how things were. I said not good all three times. The first said she would pass my feedback along. The second chided me and said all that mayo is what makes it good and I should get with it. The third said he was sorry to hear that. One and done for me, wont be going back.

As soon as I walked into the door I felt as if I was home. Great smells, all the employees welcomed me, excellent service. The subs are phenomenal with fresh, soft bread which is crucial to a good sub. I will return without out a doubt! S/o to Grant L. who made the experience even better with his personable charm. Its fabulous!

A great example of the opposite thing to do when opening up a new location. Horrible service, mediocre sub for the price. But they got those cool Coke machines you can mix a bunch of flavors into and regret immediately, so they got that going for them. Youd still have to talk to an employee though, so keep that in mind.

Just saw that Firehouse had opened in Holland, so we gave it a try. A little pricey when compared to Subway, but the sandwiches are hot and loaded with meat, veggies, etc. Probably closer to what you would find at Mancinos or Subs N More than Subway or Jimmy Johns. Overall, well definitely be back.

Ive eaten subs from Firehouse twice. The first time I found a huge hair smothered in mayonnaise In the middle of my sandwich. When I decided to give them another try, I found a short blonde hair stuck to the outside of my sandwich as soon as I unwrapped it. My family and I wont be eating here again.

Very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Got a medium #10. The bread was fresh and soft and all ingredients tasted great. Was happy with the flavors. They have a great selection of sauces to add to your sub if you should want it. Might get a large sub next time felt small for a medium

Very friendly staff, and our food was great. Im assuming he was the manager/owner had great recommendations. Less than 5 minutes wait time. It is a little pricey, but it seems to be very fresh and a selection your not going to get at your normal sub shop. Ill definitely go back!

First time here, later in evening, not busy, Two people working, subs were bad, not made correctly. Thinking it was inexperience and preoccupied, so cant blame entire business. Wont be back to this one though

Meatball sub! I finally tried it and it was actually really good. Previously I had the turkey sub and it was just ok. This is a newer location so its nice and clean, and the staff was friendly.

Waited over 12 Minutes for a sandwich as the only one at the drive thru. Uncomplicated order was made incorrectly. Wouldnt recommend or return. Bread was pretty good though.

Firehouse offers decent sandwiches for slightly more than I wanted to pay. Service was kind but very slow. Why does it take 10 minutes to make a sub?

Excellent food and service. Plus the ability to add mushroomsome is a huge bonus to me. Take advantage of the Firehouse Subs app to get free stuff.

The food is good, but the wait is awful. Ive waited twenty minutes in the drive through for a single sandwich. Not worth it.
