I went in craving a thin-crust pizza with lots of veggies--Fricanos down the street was closed at lunch. They had what they called an Indian flatbread pizza, which sounded close enough, so I ordered the veggie version and asked for extra, extra sauce (tomato sauce being nectar straight from God). Wow, did they deliver! A nice coating of cheese on top (but not too much!) gave it richness; there were lots of veggies piled on the flatbread (including some summer squash); and enough sauce surrounded the veggies that I was constantly licking my fingers! Yum, yum, yum! I will be going back there!

Great little sandwich shop in downtown!! staff is awesome - very friendly and helpful sandwiches are made to order with fresh ingredients, havent tried the salads yet but they look just as delicious the decor isnt horrible but it isnt amazing...definitely doesnt have a very homey feel - that being sad it is very clean, which is great!! **AWESOME place if you are vegetarian - my fiance is and we always struggle to find a place that has more then just one selection for him, this place has SEVERAL non meat eater friendly sandwiches, and they are good!!

I definitely visit often, especially in fall and winter. Great vegetarian options, and their seasonal macaroni and cheese is AWESOME. I wish they had it all year, to be honest. Friendly, had-working staff who keep the place clean, neat, and running smoothly. The service is great, and really fast! The prices are very reasonable. Of the sandwich places downtown, definitely my favorite, and the best deal for your meal as well, quality-wise. Not as fast as Jimmy Johns, but not by much. Definitely give it a shot, and dont forget that you can call ahead!

I have been here 4 times now, and the food & selection is great, but Ive decided after waiting 27 minutes (this time for a delicious but tiny personal "pizza" for $7.50) that this place is not a good value. Theyre also too slow, and it shows with the congestion of ordering & waiting customers around the counter. Good food, but need to either lower prices or speed up service, but really need to do both, or they wont have so many repeat customers. Edit: Just found you can order ahead on their website - consider this, esp. on Friday lunch hour.

Dont waste your time or money. They didnt honor the college discount which was the main reason I decided to go. So I ended up paying a considerable amount for a tiny mediocre pizza that lacked cheese and a fountain drink that was about three quarters full. Seriously, just go to Subs N More across the street, youll get much better food and they dont nickel and dime you.

Since opening, City Deli has made many improvements to the restaurant which has made a big difference. Ordering online is very easy and the staff has gotten more efficient. The frozen yogurt is yummy and they frequently have a new flavor to try. It does get busy at lunch time but thats just how it goes. I would definitely recommend you try it!

I went to this place during the last day of memorial day weekend on the 29th. The worker(maybe she is the owner) recommended us to order this 2 menu, because we are confused what to order. And she is so nice. We talk about our baby was actually 1 months apart. Definitely will be returning whenever i go there

Gone way downhill since the last time we visited. Waited nearly 30 minutes after ordering for a bowl of soup! Tables dirty & not wiped off between uses, floor a mess of water & napkins. The health department should take a look at this place

The bomb!! We were on vacation from Virginia and stopped in for a bite to eat. What a good choice we made. You have to try the "San Diego", its a healthy sandwich, but truly good and if you like guacomole...even better!!

Well priced for the quality of food and very nice service highly recommend. Kinda of a lunch place but it may take a few minutes to get your food, but I expected that due to fresh home made food.

City Deli has some of the best sandwiches around. A huge variety to choose from. I prefer the Newark on the Sun-Dried Focaccia bun. Also their seasonal pumpkin bacon soup is to die for!
