David was my hairstylist. He did an amazing job with the haircut. I had my hair cut in a different salon and the stylist over thinned my hair. My hair looks flat and the ends looks dry and frizzy. I have pretty thick and mildly curly Asian hair texture. Usually, I will go back to my home country to have my hair cut once a year but since I have an upcoming wedding event to go, I need someone to come into rescue. My friend recommended me to go to U2 salon. Even though it was quite a long travel to the place but it definitely worth it. It was a simple non-fancy salon but the people in the salon are friendly and greeted me with warmth. Although they dont take reservations, but their service was fast. There were already 3 other customers ahead of me but I only waited less than 15 minutes for my turn. David analyzed my hair texture and noticed that my hair was overly thinned. He asked me if I have any style in preference. I told him that my hair is overly thinned now and I showed him the desired haircut that I hope to have. He told me that he understood my situation and he will focused on creating more volume and to cut out those thin strands of hair that is all out of place. And I love the end results! Theres more volume to my hair....I have a bob-look hair style now. If you have hard to managed Asian hair texture, I would recommend you to give this salon a try.

NOT A CLEAN SALON! ! I went to this salon today for the first time and when I walked in it looked like a regular well-maintained place. Although they give good haircuts, hygiene is not their strong suit. As I was sitting in the chair waiting to get my hair washed I didnt see any of the containers that are for sanitizing the scissors, the combs, the hairbrushes, or the hair clipper spacers. So, the lady came and got me to wash my hair. When I came back I saw a basket with hair filled hairbrushes, a small bin with used combs and scissors. I thought that maybe they put them in one spot and then they go to sanitize them all at once.....NOPE!!! Instead they use the SAME combs, hairbrushes, and hair clipper spacers on the ALL OF THEIR CLIENTS!!! I stopped the lady that was doing my hair from using a used hair filled hairbrush and told her that I have my own. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE and I will not be returning. I dont know about everyone else, but as for me, I dont prefer to be put at risk for getting lice, or anything else that could be transferred from one persons scalp to another ...

Too bad I have no option to not give them a star. Hygiene...is horrible. Ive noticed that the hair tools arent soaked before using it on the next customer. They dont listen to what you want, its what they want or according to them that matters.i wad in there and overheard a girl telling the stylist exactly what she wants yet the stylist ignored her and cut the hair to what she wants and not her client. When the girl complained, she told the girl that it wasnt "modern " and that the way she cut is modern. Its the girls hair, for god sake let her have what she wants.

They are NOT the best with latest hair coloring trends such as coloring hair into unique color like gray/silver or Ombre hair. They charged ALOT on my short hair & so i was hoping to see decent results at least but it was not. The colors are uneven and looks nothing like what I asked for. The colors are very faint & it doesnt make much difference from before & after hair dye. But They did great job with coloring other people with natural colors so AVOID going to this salon if youre trying to do latest trend hair coloring but if not go for it.

I had a horrible experience here and it was my FIRST time!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE YOUNG GUY HAIR STYLIST. I TOLD HIM NOT TO THIN MY HAIR AND WHAT DID I CAME OUT WITH?!?! THINNED OUT HAIR!!! & When he dried my hair he DIDNT even use a ROUND BRUSH!!!! A good hairstylist is someone who listens to their customer not to what he sees fit!!!!!! Not only that, but while he was in the process of drying my hair he went across to another customer to blow dry his hair and then continued with mines. THIS MADE HIM VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!

I went in today with no appointment set up (last min) and he took me in and did an absolutely amazing job! So sad I dont remember his name! It is a great price of only $23. I will return back for sure even though I live about 30 minutes away. It was gentle, with no hair tugging/pulling. My hair is soft with great layers. He made great conversation with me and kept me laughing the whole time. Overall experience is A+. Definitely recommend this place is youre on a budget.

I showed them a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like. They did not even get close to what I wanted. Bleaching hair is definitely not their strongsuit. I dont reccomend this place to anyone wishing to recolor their hair. Very dissapointed and angry with how poorly they did.
