Family video offers a great selection and reasonable rental durations. We are new customers and are getting 50% off . Unfortunately every time one or more disc is defective. our player is new - bought it the day we became members ( they dont sell or rent DVD players ) -. We purchased a DVD player cleaner there on our third visit - without improvement. Its been suggested that I ask for the disc to be cleaned when checking out...and I think Ill look for scratches even before going to the counter.

maria, did you take it back and tell them that it skipped? Im sure they would have given you reimbursement of some sort. Theyve always warned me if they notice a disc is scratched underneath.

Its like the only video store left in the country. Free kids movies make it worth it to us, plus the convenience of having most of the movies for up to 5 days.
