I would not recommend hosting your event here. I had an event for a 50th wedding anniversary August 20th. Let Alix know I would be there about 10 to start decorating for our 1:00 party. Showed up at 10:30 and there was not one thing ready for me. I was informed by a chef that they realized at 2 am that morning that they didnt have enough tables and chairs for my event and they had to rent them. That they would be there at 11:30. I told him I had to decorate and 90% of the decorations I had go on the tables. I was told I would be given staff to help me decorate. That did not happen. The room at 10:30 hadnt even been cleaned from the night before, bathroom dirty, bar dirty, had not been vacuumed absolutely zero preparation had been done. I had to stay on top of the 2 staff members I was given to get the room ready with the exception of Dan he tried his best to get everything needed to make sure the party was ready at 1:00 but he is only 1 person. I had to have my sister-in-law vacuum the room because the table and chairs finally showed up at 11:00 and the staff I was given had to help get them to the room. I had to help put on linens to make sure we would be ready on time. I was very disappointed that the manager of the Golden Glow was showing the room to potential clients and frankly where in our way while we where preparing for the party and once after our party started. Totally inappropriate. I was never contacted by management during set up or during our party or even after our party to apologize for this mishap or to even assist in getting the room ready or explain what had happen. I sent an email to Alix stating all this and how disappointed I was that the ball was dropped on our party and was never given a response. There was one employee Dan that helped tremendously to ensure my party would be ready by 1:00 if it wasnt for him I am not sure we would have been prepared for our guest. I had this at the Golden Glow to make it so it was stress free. This was so not the case they could have cared less about the mishap they had their money for the event and left me hanging. The only positive thing I can say is the food (soup and sandwiches) was good. Otherwise I would not recommend and I wont be having a party there again.

We held our rehearsal dinner. wedding ceremony and reception at the Golden Glow. Tabbatha the Event Planner is outstanding to work with. She knows how to make your event a success. Our rehearsal dinner had more guests show up than expected and they replenished the food and made extra seating quickly without batting an eye. Our guests raved about the simple and delicious spaghetti dinner. The wait staff was attentive and at our reception the dishes/glasses where removed quickly. The bartender was amazing, and again our guests commented on his ability to fill their orders quickly. The ceremony in the Forman Room was perfect. Our wedding had 130 guests and wedding party and we could have fit more comfortably. We also chose to use the shuttle service and photo booth. Both HIGHLY recommended. The photo booth props were new and clean. The time and effort taken to decorate our tables and set up the event was obvious when you walked into the room. Our reception was perfect. The food was top notch, the waitstaff attentive. My new husband and I cant say enough positive things about the Golden Glow. We recommend the Golden Glow Ballroom and Tabbatha for all your events!!! Bravo Tabbatha. Thank you again for making our wedding amazing!!!

We ate lunch one day. I had Tuscan Chicken sandwich with potato wedges. My wife had the special a pasta with cheeses, red peppers. etc. Both meals were EXCELLENT. Service was good. THEN, we went to dinner. She had planked white fish and I had a medium rare rib eye steak. We both had house salads. I had red potatoes. She broccoli. The fish was acceptable. The salads were acceptable although the blue cheese dressing was not tasty at all. The steak was not acceptable and I should have refused to pay. It was tough, chewy and NOT a restaurant quality steak although it was perfectly cooked. The red potatoes were DEAD! Saturated with grease and cooked to death. They should not have been served either. Service was good. Overall we were disappointed and may or may not return. Had I rated this restaurant on our lunch prior to attending for dinner I would have given it four or five stars. Now, only two.

We are completely overjoyed with our service from Golden Glow. We had our wedding there last weekend and had the full ballroom with 235 guests. It was PERFECT! The food was delicious and the service was superb. Our family and friends could not stop complimenting us on our big day and that is all thanks to this amazing venue, and our event coordinator, Jessica. She really took the time to make sure our day was perfect and we are forever thankful for that! The bartenders were phenomenal and the DJ was incredible. If you are considering having your wedding here, look no further, you will not find a better, more reasonably priced wedding in the area! We wish we could married again and do it all over, we would not change a thing! THANK YOU!

Went there as a part of the bridal party one weekend. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Of course there will always be minor bumps in the road which they gladly fixed easily. The only issue I had noticed was that the DJ was not the one that the bride and groom thought would be there. They put this older man in and he played the same songs multiple times and songs I know the groom and bride would not have played. Very awkward. The other thing that caught my attention is that they had chicken and tortellini as the main course. The tortellini was very sparse and they used rotini as a filler, basically is was just rotini pasta with few tortellini to fill it.

Tabbatha Parker was so amazing! She kept everything in line for our wedding in October. There was another event going on the same night as our wedding and you would have never have known. We rented the front part of the reception section and it was absolutely gorgeous. The bar tenders were fantastic. I can not say enough great things about this place. We also got married in the upstairs room of the Glow which is beautiful. Very elegant with beautiful windows. If you are looking for a place to plan your wedding or any event, this is the place to do it. Very elegant for a great price. Food, atmosphere, décor, everything is great. You wont be disappointed.

My wife and I have been here three times. The first time was great. The food was excellent, the service was good. The next time it wasn’t as great but ok. And the third time was horrible. The food was not good, it took quite a while to come out, and they were out of many things. Even the little loaf of bread they give you which is delicious was a bit on the dry side. The wait staff is friendly, but lack a little in the common sense department. For example whistling while you work. Come on this is a fine dining experience? The decline of this place is as obvious as the nose on my face. Isn’t it to the management?
