I should note at the start that my review applies to ALL Chick-fil-A restaurants, not just to the one on East Trinity Place. Quality of food has been uniformly excellent at all their restaurants Ive visited (which includes dozens in metro Atlanta and a few others in Alabama, Florida, and elsewhere in Georgia), as was the service. The basic Chick-fil-A sandwich might seem too plain at first, since it consists of only fried boneless chicken breast, plain bun, and pickle, but I suggest that you resist the urge to add anything (e.g., tomato, lettuce, mayo, &c.) until after youve taken a big bite or two of the sandwich as it is served. I generally prefer sandwiches with lots of tomato, pickle, and mayo, with a little lettuce, but NOT on the Chick-fil-A. I tasted my first one in 1967 (before the franchise explosion), and it was love at first bite!! If theyve changed their seasonings recipe since then, I didnt notice, and it certainly didnt hurt the flavor of what I still regard as the best-tasting chicken sandwich anywhere! For those who prefer lower-cholesterol items, the chargrilled chicken sandwich is also excellent, as are their salads and chicken salad sandwich. Also, their signature waffle-fried potatoes seemed to me to have much less oil in the finished product than do most french fries at other restaurants; they too are quite good. Though Ive personally tasted only a couple of their dessert items, they were delicious, and comments from friends and family about other desserts and side dishes were uniformly good or better, especially for the coleslaw (which I eat only VERY rarely anywhere). My only disappointment was on learning that they are never open on Sunday (because of the founders religious belief, which I certainly respect, despite my all too frequent frustration because of it). I would personally be greater pleased if they NEVER closed!

Usually this Chick-fil-A is incredibly crowded and staffed (and managed) by high schoolers. The kids do a great job and are very responsible and respectful, but Ive heard complaints that they are treated poorly. That alone would give me a rating of about 3 or possibly even 4 stars (given how crowded it usually is, the wait is very reasonable, and for most of my experience the staff is incredibly respectful). However, about five years ago, when I was in high school, I was there with one friend. I had bought and paid for an entire meal, and for once the place actually wasnt crowded. We were quietly sitting at a table talking, and a manager came over and demanded to know if my friend had purchased anything. She had not, but I had a whole meal (as I said), and I had been sharing some of it with her. Needless to say, he then continued to request that both of us leave as she was "loitering." To this day, I am appalled and frustrated by this.

HORRIBLE!!!!! I WENT ON MY LUNCH BREAK AND DID NOT GET MY CONDIMENTS SO I HAD TO EAT MY CHICKEN SANDWICH DRY!!! I CALLED THE MANAGER AND TOLD HER WHAT HAPPENED AND THAT I COULDNT GO BACK BECAUSE I DIDNT HAVE TIME BECAUSE I HAD TO GO BACK TO WORK. SO SHE SAID WOULD YOU LIKE TO COME IN LATER I SAID FOR WHAT SHE HAD THE NERVE TO SAY FOR THE CONDIMENTS! REALLY IM ON MY BREAK NEED TO EAT MY FOOD AND YOU ASK TO GO BACK LATER FOR THE CONDIMENTS, WORSE SERVICE EVER NEVER EXPECTED IT FROM A CHIK FIL A! FIRST AND LAST TIME I GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!!

Nicest staff of just about any Chick-fil-a. Its part of the walking shopping district of downtown city of Decatur, so its convenient for the daytime shopping and courthouse crowd, as well as, the evening Decatur square events, football games and other people just passing through. The only complaint is the parking. The lot is tight and the drive-thru line blocks in the spaces closest to the building. The staff does a great job of managing this, but its inconvenient occasionally.

Always missing something in the order and they are always sorry about it. I just got a chicken sandwich with just a pickle in it. No tomato, no lettuce, when asked the manager she said well if you wand deluxe (what I originally ordered) Ill have to charge you. We asked for a toy and ice cream, missing a toy. Asked for honey never got it. I jad to go to the counter and interrupt my meal 5 times and they are always "sorry"

I bought 2 -12 piece nuggetts, and 2-8 piece nuggetts. I asked 10 chik fila sauces. The lady at the window put 2 in the bag. When I asked for 8 more, she had to ask the manager who hesitated, and with a disgusted, impatient look, put them in the bag. I said that I bought 4 boxes of nuggetts 40 pieces. Why is 10 sauces a problem. With the impatient look she said, "No problem. Its my pleasure."

For this particular location, its a crowded parking lot and can be tricky manuevering around to get to drive thru. You might get trapped in a parking spot because of the drive thus location. But Who doesnt like chick fil a? They have fresh and inexpensive food! I like their breakfast when Im in a rush. I just dont come to this location when I need to get in and out in a hurry.

Its funny how this chick -fil-A is announcing free food for veterans on veterans day when just a few months ago I went in for my disabled veteran father and wasnt allowed but one when they had the free biscuit promotion! By a supervisor non the less, she didnt give me time to explain so I will be taking my military family to another chick -fil-A that respects ALL

Worst service Ive ever seen. Got out of my car to go eat inside and one of there employees named Demeriaus or something like that told me I had to stay with my car and I told him I was eating inside and he said I had to either go through the drive through or leave which made no sense at all. I will be reaching out to corporate. Customer service was ridiculous.

Its Chik-fil-a so, yeah, its tasty and service is always friendly. This location is SUPER busy...... the drive thru line is always 10 cars deep and about 6-10 parking spaces are never available (or convenient to park in) because the drive thru line up is blocking those spaces. They need a double drive thru or some kind of re-figure of the parking area.

One of the best Chick-fil-A restaurants Ive been to considering how busy they are. Even when they are busy they are great about bringing orders to the tables and helping out in any way for those that need assistance. I brought two friends from the UK there and they were astounded, declaring it to be unbelievably good for both food and service.

Just moved to downtown Decatur and excited about the possibility of CFA within walking distance. Ive been here about 5 times now and they have inconsistent service and quality. Best service during morning rush. Chicken is always on the skimpy side and this morning I might as well have ordered a toasted butter biscuit!

This Chick-fil-A is hit or miss. Sometimes the food is hot and fresh and other times, the food isnt so great. Quick service and the staff is friendly but I would like to see more consistency with the food. My favorite items to order is the number 1 combo meal with lemonade.

If you are going to eat at a quick server restaurant it is tough to beat Chick-Fil-A. The staff always had a great attitude and wants to make sure you are happy. You know what you are getting food wise. Good quality, flavor, and options for the type of restaurant.
