Terrible! I ordered all of the linens, tables, glasses, flatware and chafing dishes through Hotz. They showed up to the reception an hour late with many of the items missing. I called the event coordinator to find out why and was greeted with an unprofessional, condescending attitude. Ive coordinated many events and never ran into this type of customer disrespect. Being late and showing up with many missing items is UNACCEPTABLE! Apparently this isnt their first offense. Other cater friends warned me of their professionalism as well. There are many options to choose from when planning a wedding or event...... this should be one to steer clear of! Happy Planning!

We chose HOTZ for our Wedding Ceremony because of their location and price. Due to lack of space and time (and my mental sanity) - I will just list what they did and did not do: -showed up 1 hour late -did not bring a dolly or chair cart to haul chairs -only brought a crew of 2 men instead of the contract-agreed-upon 4. -refused to carry the chairs "that far" even though they had been paid an extra $150 to do so -their 2 men carried ONE chair at a time!!!! while my MOTHER, MOTHER IN LAW, Aunts, and Uncles carried 4 at a time and set up ALL the chairs in their wedding clothes in order to get them up just 15 minutes before wedding.

I wish i could give this company negative stars. THEY ARE HORRIBLE! They showed up an hour late to my church event and when they arrived they didnt set up in a timely manner. The person who came didnt even know what event he was making food for. The food was cold and somewhat dry. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. If you want good food and good service GO ELSEWHERE!

Hotz catering caters for my church invite for the boys and girls club of southwest oakland. The staff was great and on time very formal and cared for the quality of the event, food was good everyone loved it. They cleaned up in 15 mins and were very polite. I would consider anyone to have Hotz catering for there.

I rented tents, tables, & chairs from Hotz for my sons graduation party. I never got too specific about what I wanted and was delighted with the tents when they arrived. I still have people commenting about how perfect my yard looked and how great the tents were. I would recommend Hotz to anyone!
