I arrived at the selected restaurant (Royal Oak, 301 S Main St, Royal Oak, MI) to find a sign on the door stating they were closed due to water issues. Not a problem in and of itself except that I had placed an online order for 11:30 am pick-up and it wasnt ready and I couldnt get in. I placed my order confirmation, which I printed out (thank god), up against the window to the lady inside. She opened the door and said "were closed". I said "I see that but I placed an online order for pick-up and Im here to pick it up." She asked me when I placed it, which of course was this morning at 9:30 because you cant place orders any day but the day you intend to pick it up. Not sure why said employee didnt know how her restaurants orders work but thats not the real problem either. So, I asked her "what about my food?" She repeats "were closed". I said "I can see that, but I placed an order to be picked up here for an office function and I need the food. I was not notified that this location was having issues. What am I supposed to do?" She shrugged. She then repeated for the third time "were closed" and added "you can go to the Qdoba at 13 Mile." I said "ok, but I needed to pick up this food at 11:30. If I drive up there, will they be able to find my order?" She says shell find it and forward it to them. I asked her if she needed my order number or name and she said no, shed know which one it was. ??????? She then shuts the door in my face and locks it. Needless to say, Im pretty frustrated at that moment. So I drive up to the 13 Mile location (30754 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak, takes 10 minutes) and the guy there (manager, I think) asked if Im there to pick up an online order. I told him yes and that the order was to have been transferred from the Royal Oak store on Main Street, downtown because theyre closed because of water issues. He looks in the system and says there is no order. Luckily I had printed out the confirmation which had all the orders on it. He took it and filled my order. I left there at 12:15 pm. During my wait there I asked if there was protocol for situations like this and was told that yes, there was, thats why they get a phone number. To call people in the event there is an issue with their order. NO ONE CALLED. The girl was rude. She didnt transfer the order like she said she would. And she didnt contact the people with online orders letting them know they would not be able to pick them up or that theyd be transferred to another location or something. Im curious to know how many other orders got screwed up because employees were sitting on their asses doing nothing because they couldnt open. It took me an hour to get from my original pick-up spot at 11:30 and back to my office in Ferndale for an order that was supposed to be waiting for me when I got there at 11:30. I had paid online for the order when I placed it but had to pay again at the new store when they filled my order because it wasnt transferred to them as promised. He assured me that the original order would not be charged to my credit card because it hadnt been filled. I really hope this is the case. The Royal Oak Main Street store failed big time on this. Where was the manager and why werent people being contacted about the closure? This is unacceptable. We wont order from this location again. I feel sorry for the employees at the Woodward store because I was the second person that came in from the Main Street store with problems. Who knows how many others came in after me. And except for one burrito that didnt get sour cream like the order stated the order was filled as quickly as possible and correctly by them. They were very apologetic and we happy to help me out. Thats the kind of service a customer should receive. Not excuses, lip service, and a door in their face. I will be placing this review on Qdobas website and Yelp for this specific location at 301 S Main St. Royal Oak, MI.

This was quite possibly the worst customer service Ive ever received at any type of fast food restaurant, and thats saying a lot. I walked in and was the only person in line to order, I sat for probably 4-5 minutes while workers made eye contact with me and walked away or continued refilling things or wiping things down. I walked over to the register hoping to get someones attention thinking maybe they were kind of busy trying to get stuff done. I get it, I work in retail too. One of the workers finally stood at the end of the line where you order. I asked if I was supposed to order there or at the register, considering no one acknowledged me when I was standing there originally. She rolled her eyes and pointed in front of where she was standing. I dont think she said more than two words the whole time she took my order. Instead in between every topping and such I ordered, shed look up at me with the most irritated condisending look on her face, and wait for me to say something else. I dont think Ill be returning to the Royal Oak Qdoba ever again, because apparently having even one customer mid day is such a bother to their rude and unfriendly staff.

Very dirty. Three employees standing around yappin and the place was trashed. I could understand more if it was busy, but including myself there were only two customers there at the time. Literally every table was dirty, I ended up wiping one myself. One hot sauce bottle available, almost empty, with sauce running down the outside of the bottle. Two drink lids available, right next to some kind of sauce spill, I ended up skipping the lid. I realize this is not a 5 star restaurant, but still this place was unacceptably dirty. I will not be back. Too bad there is not a Chipotle nearby.

Worst experience at a Qdoba ever. First of all, I am a fan of Qdoba but, I have to say that I will NEVER return to this location. I sent my daughter to get two chicken burritos. I asked for extra rice in mine. What came back was chicken-free (not even a speck) with a tiny bit of rice, a few black beans and tons of sour cream and cheese. It was inedible. When I called the manager, Denise, to complain, she told me to call the regional manager in the morning. Attached are the pictures of my 10 dollar burrito. Disgusting and disgusted.

Horrible service. I went here on a night they closed at 11, i walked in at 10:14 and the way the treated me and my friend you wouldnt believe! The girl had to get a new guacamole and she went around slamming things. My friend said sorry you had to open a new one. And with the biggest attitude, said " i had to do it anyways. I got a chicken quesadilla, the rice was dried up. The chicken was VERY VERY burnt. Everything tasted bad. It was made so sloppy, i couldnt eat it. Never coming back!
