Being new to the area, I walked into the salon back in February for a hair cut. Deciding a few months later I wanted to do something dramatic with my hair, I wanted to get a grey ombre. What I ended up getting was orange hair that I paid $205. When I called the next day expressing my unhappiness and a refund, I was told it wouldnt happen. That I could get my hair colored again or back to my natural color. I went back to my natural. When I went back, I was accused of washing my hair, which I didnt. It was a horrible experience. Going to the salon is suppose to be fun and glamorous and relaxing. It wasnt. I was very upset and told I should have come out with what I wanted and not orange hair. I was told later by other professionals the stylist, Sam, didnt lift enough color. She was nice and pleasant but very chatty, telling me during the process this was more of a hobby for since she really didnt need to work. You know how it goes when youre in the chair sharing. I am still very disappointed with this experience and would have preferred a full refund. I wont be going back.

I went in with two inch gray and brown roots and 6month old faded black plum lengths. I asked for turquoise and brown hair, showed a pic of me with turquoise and brown hair. When she was done i had paid 190 for turquoise and black hair. I was devastated and called the salon back to complain a half hour after i left the salon. They said they couldnt get me back in for 3 days. When i went back ...first she spent a half hour trying to convince me the black was brown, i wasnt buying it, then she spent and half an hour trying to convince me that i had asked for black hair, i wasnt buying that either, then she admitted she only colored the roots to match the lengths and charged me another 75 dollars to remove the black which barely lifted it at all . Piss poor.

As a dude, I never thought I would be leaving a review for a hair salon. But Ive been to Tantrum Salon twice and theres a nice, friendly face at the front desk and the sharp looking cuts Ive received from Jennifer H. have gotten me some attention. She transformed my lid from a mop that hadnt been cut in 8 months into a slick pompadour. And the girls have noticed. Thank you Jennifer!

I just moved to the area and found this place around the corner from me. First off everyone was so nice and inviting, and the place was very nice inside. I had Jacquie and she was awesome and did a great job! Ill definitely be back.

Theresa does a great job with my hair. I have been getting weekly blow-outs for over a year now and my hair always turns out great. The salon is clean and cozy and Sally at the front desk is so sweet and helpful.
