Mazur Automotive is the BEST! Ive been going there for service for about 5 years. I drive approximately an hour every time I need an oil change or other work done on my vehicles because the service is unbeatable and absolutely trustworthy. Ive been scammed and had parts stolen off my car by OTHER shops. But at Mazurs, Im confident enough to leave a diamond ring on the dash. In fact, I HAVE accidently left valuables out before handing them the keys, but I have never had anything stolen. The free 24 point check (or how many?) that comes with each oil change has saved my booty several times. The guys are like gurus. They can spot and fix EVERYTHING. But they also tell me the urgency (or non urgency) of a recommended service and I never feel pressured to get something done that I dont need. They dont leave me in the dark if I dont understand a service or function of my car. They are very clear in explaining exactly whats wrong with the car and how they are going to fix it. Im not a professional mechanic, but I do understand systems, and I appreciate that the guys at Mazur are willing to educate me further instead of asking me to blindly pay for something I dont understand. They always take my car for a test drive after performing service to verify that everything is working as it should. They have even put gas in my car to do such a test drive once when I dropped it off empty. Thanks! They have a free loaner car in case I need to go somewhere while mine is being worked on, but I never use it because my appointments are always so fast. They have a nice waiting room with coffee and refreshments and a restroom that is very clean. There is also a TV so that people without iPhones dont get bored. They give me a call or email to remind me of important upcoming preventative maintenance so I never wait til its too late. And after each appointment, recommended service or service that is mileage-due is printed on the receipt for future reference with a quoted price. The quoted price is hardly ever off. This is a huge help when I am budgeting for it. Im a working college student, so this is very important to me. The service is professionally personal and courteous. They know who I am and they are familiar with my car. Im not a number here, Im a customer. And they keep excellent records on my car. They work with me if I need special arrangements such as after-hours pick up or drop off. All the experiences Ive ever had with Mazur have been great. Im just not going to switch! How do I know Im not a gullible blonde? Many friends of mine have similar cars and even though Ive highly recommended Mazur, they take theirs to a dealer for service. The prices the pay are FAR higher than the prices I pay, and in the long run, their cars have more problems than my cars. Mazur is not a hole-in-the-wall business or just "a car guy" in a garage. Mazur Automotive is a reputable, AAA certified, professional shop run by honest and knowledgeable people. Ill keep going here for as long as I live in Michigan. You should take your car there, too! I highly recommend Mazur Auto. I normally perform my own work on my vehicle but I had just moved into the state last week and was on the way to an interview when my fuel pump went out on the freeway. I was able to be towed to the nearest facility which happened to be Mazur. I had no way of getting the work done myself as I was 30 miles from my place. I arrived there close to closing time and they did their best to diagnose my vehicle but were honest about the fact that they wouldnt be able to replace the pump before closing, and that they were not open until Monday. David was very understanding of my situation and decided to offer me a free loaner car for the weekend so that I could make it to two job interviews on Monday when they would be working on my car EVEN THOUGH they normally dont loan to first time customers. I was not expecting this and I appreciate it very much as I was able to make it to both interviews. On Monday I got a call from David who was even nice enough to ask how my interviews went and whether I had made it to them. They had done a full inspection on the car, since I havve only had it about eight months and knew there were some suspension issues. When he called, he had priced out a quote for my necessary fuel pump replacement, as well as a seperate quote for the most needed suspension job. Again, I typically do my own work and will be doing the work they quoted me on, and David understood and gave absolutely no pressure and they even gave me a 1-5 scale grade on how necessary the work was. Finally, when I got there, they explained that my fuel level sensor was bad (which I had suspected) as they put the fuel pump in and the gas level was nowhere near the gauge reading. Again, since I am inbetween jobs and need to save a few bucks, I declined the service and David understood, no pressure. The price on the repair was totally fair, the timing was perfect on Monday, there was no pressure, and they went out of their way to make sure their NEW customer was inconvenienced as little as possible. All in all, the ideal experience for someone who works in the field and knows how most of the time this is not the case for auto service. Though I just met them, I would recommend Mazur to anyone. I called to see about getting my front brakes replaced. I was quoted a cost for just brake pads, and with rotor if new ones were needed. I asked for an approximate time for the service to be completed, was told an hour and a half was usual. At the hour and a half mark; I get a call to inform me that the rotors were needed. Then the guy starts to tell me how my oil is dirty and low, my air filter was dirty; and my cabin air filter needed to be replaced also; and the car wasnt ready yet. I told them over the phone that I did not want or need any extra services. When I arrived to pick up my car I told them I was a bit upset, because I had called for brake service and never asked them to look at anything else. The manager tells me they have to check these things in case the engine locked up after I left their building; but what does a cabin air filter have to do with the engine locking up? And my car was purchased new in 2007; and I am absolutely certain there is no place to even install a cabin air filter. This place will apparently sell you things whether your car needs them or not; and I would not recommend them at all.

Mazur Automotive is amazing!! Their customer services, knowledge, and performance is unmatched. I first spoke with Dave when I was stranded in Ann Arbor with a truck that was having serious transmission issues. Dave was polite, and went above and beyond by looking up other auto repair shops that were closer to my location, in attempt to save me money on towing. I then called a few other shops and without going into details, decided I was calling Mazur back. Dave took the load off my back immediately. He had the truck towed, game me a time frame that the truck would be fixed in, and offered me a price that was beyond amazing. Everything he said he would do, he did. This was by far the best experience I have ever had with an automotive shop. Thank you Dave and all the folks at Mazur for all your hard work getting my truck back on the road. Youve earned a customer for life.
