This is the second time this has happened. I went in on a Saturday morning, needing a trim. I discussed it with the stylist, she agreed no more than 3" to come off. When I left, my hair was 8" shorter than when I walked in. I am so upset. This is the second time this location has done this to me. I want my hair to my waist, been trying to get it there. Every time I do, I need a little trim, and every time I go to them, hey presto, 8" shorter. I am so done with this place. If there was a 0 rating, I would give it to them.

I love this place and ALWAYS get my hair cut here. I love the staff and always have Moréna cut my hair as she is the best! They treat you so well here as a customer, and while it does suck that you cannot schedule an appointment, the wait is never too long (even if you are waiting to see one person like I do with Moréna). The quality of their work and for the price you pay, cannot be beaten!

I was very happy with my haircut this morning. Valerie listened to what I wanted, verified with me that she understood me, and then did exactly what I wanted her to do. She was friendly and kept checking in with me. I was in and out of the salon in under an hour and for $14! This is the best haircut Ive had in years. Next time I will trust them with my color too.

Will never go back again. Had a terrible haircut and the "stylist" was condescending and told me what I wanted rather than listen to what I had in mind. She proceeded to give me a cut that I spent months growing out. I have been going to Fantastic Sams for a very long time in Bloomington, so this was not my first experience. But never again to this one!!

My entire family loves Fantastic Sams Golden Valley! The women who work there are inviting, comforting, knowledgeable, and fun! From mens, womens, and kids hair cuts to eye brow waxing this is the place to go!! When Im having a stressful day I even go there for a quick blow out. I cant say enough about the owner and her team at this location!

The OWNER Shelly is completely racist and it is extremely unsettling to know in this day and age and in our community she is still in business. I had a great experience the first time I went there for a cut and today was turned away simply because they did not want to deal with my type of hair. I urge you to go to any other location.

Absolutely the worst place to get a haircut.stylus I explain to the stylist what I wanted she said she understood, it was nothing like what wanted, she said she can try to fix it at that point I wanted nothing to do with fantastic Sams. As I was expressing my concerns the other stylist was laughing. Will never return again.
