I applied online at Apple One after I was told that many large local corporations hire entry-level staff members through employment agencies. I completed my online application, applied for a job I was interested at aforementioned large corporation, and was then contacted by an Apple One account executive to email her my resume. I originally thought this was strange, seeing as they should have a copy of it after uploading and completing their rather extensive online applications; however, I her emailed another copy of my resume. After not hearing back for two days, I decided to call and speak with her in person. She reviewed my application and asked me if I could come in for a 1:1 interview to complete my application process, as she felt I was a strong candidate for the position. Hopeful that something good would come out of this, I agreed. Once at my interview, I filled out a few forms and watched a 15 minute video regarding Apple Ones policies before finally meeting with my account executive. The interview lasted less than ten minutes-- she told me that she thought I would be a great fit for the corporation and that my prior experience was relevant enough to get my foot in the door. She told me that she would submit me for the position, and asked how much notice I would require before an interview. Lastly, she said that the assistant would be emailing me a few online tests to take regarding my computer skills and to complete these within three days. Since then, Ive completed the tests (which took about four or five hours total), and Ive been contacted by my account executive about two additional positions at the same large corporation. Its the same routine, I say that Im still interested, and then I never hear anything further. Ive tried emailing and calling to follow up; however, neither my calls nor emails are answered. Ive applied for additional positions, and again, never hear anything back. In all honesty, I wouldnt waste time with this agency. While they put on a professional facade through the original phone call and while I visited the office for my interview, I find it extremely unprofessional to leave their clients hanging the way in which they do. Looking back, Ive invested a good 8 hours total in my application process... I wish I would have just taken that day and spent it in a coffee shop applying for jobs on my own.

My employment rep was not only rude and insulting, she was unprofessional and had terrible communication. The first time I went in there it seemed like her main goal was to insult me and break me down mentally. As though your self-esteem isnt already below normal from being unemployed. She also didnt do a very good job of communicating anything to me. I would apply for jobs on the Apple One site and there was absolutely no follow-up with me as to if I was being submitted for those jobs or not. And if not, I would at least like to be told why so that I know what to look for on the job board. I finally called the regional supervisor to complain and explained in 5 minutes. what my employment rep couldnt after 5 months. The only reason Im giving three stars is because I was initially placed in a job after only a week, never had problems with paychecks, and was given flexibility on my testing. Otherwise, I would suggest somewhere else.

I dont understand what you guys are talking about. Ckymans alright in my book. I called the office and inquired of job opportunities and she assured me that the company is geared towards providing office jobs, in which case I do not have experience for. If it werent for her directness, I would be wasting my time filling out a profile no office employer will bother to read because of my lack of experience. I know I sound pessimistic, but Ive already had less than bad luck trying to find work as a qualified candidate with a solid skill set as it is. Its times like these that there are people out there like Jen who tell it like it is and save you from putting in man hours where they are not welcome. In my case, office work. Sure she sounds a little rude over the phone, but thats what gives her character, and I definitely prefer it over the "Minnesota nice".

I love AppleOne! The day after I got laid off from my last position I get a call from AppleOne. I go in for the app interview and as I am filling out paperwork...a recruiter came in telling me she got me an interview at Wells Fargo scheduled in an hour. So I went to WF... and was hired immediately. After background and fingerprints cleared... I was working in 2 weeks making 8.40 more than I was at my last position!!! AppleOne was a blessing for me...dont blame the agency. They are a company seeking perfect fits rather than just placing anyone, anywere. Be patient. =)

Was on my way to the interview and my recruiter was not even in the office that day. The application I filled out online, didnt save so I essentially wasted an hour of my time. This is also considering you have the honor of dealing with downtown traffic and paying for parking, when a phone interview would suffice. A worthless organization for both employer and employee. Your time is better spent applying for jobs elsewhere.

I agree with the other reviews. This is a very poor agency! I strongly recommend not going through Apple One! They do not care about their contract employees. They have almost zero communication with them other than to set up an interview. I have heard great things about Digital People, Horizontal Integration, and Marcomm Department Inc.
