My husband was placed on a prevailing wage job through express. On his third day of work he was told that he and every other Express employee on the job wouldnt be able to return to the job because they didnt have the necessary certification. When we asked why they didnt ask for that certification when offering the position they said they didnt know, as if it would be someone elses responsibility to obtain all necessary information for a job placement through their company. The job offered a very good wage so we called that same day to let the office staff at Express know that he was going to take the certification course that would allow him to return to the job. We told them that we wanted to be sure before we spent the time and money on the certification that the job would still be available. We were assured that it would be, no problem she said. In total he missed one work day while taking the course. Tuesday morning (Monday was a holiday) my husband showed up ready to work with proof of his certification. This is when he was informed that the job was no longer available. So, $150 and countless hours spent to obtain a certification he wasnt even informed he would need and there isnt even a job for him anymore. The office staff at Express has proven to be lacking in organization and professionalism. If I was so careless at my job Id be unemployed. They seem to not care at all that they are dealing with peoples livelihoods. All they have to do is provide accurate information but they apparently are incapable.

Very professional they have a lot of temp associates but they still manage to stay professional! I have recommended them to everyone looking for a job! ****Update: Unfortunately my experience became less than desirable in a very short time, I was placed with a company that basically let their employees rule it, the guys were vulgar and spoke to the women like we are their servants. When I brought that to my bosss attention he treated me worse. I kept Express in the loop but there was nothing really done! Then they placed me with the cardinals game, and badgered me in to going, then they placed me with a company that had a temp coming from another agency. When I asked about "show up" pay I was told they would check on it which was never discussed again. Then I was placed with a company NO One wanted to work for. After I started I found out some shady stuff, guess what Express did? Nothing! So I have since went my own way and will never go back again, whats sad is I worked for a Staffing Company for 1 & 1/2 years, I have the experience to bring to this company but since they have lazy little girls that have no idea what they are doing this company will never reach its true potential! Dont waste your time! Im with Jacob, they need to re-staff if they want to stay in business!

I had a great experience with express employment. I was trying to make a career change and move job markets so I was anticipating it to be dififficult and asked if Express had any leads. I talked with Kirk by phone and we discussed some strategies to make the transition to a new career in a new city. Kirk was able to set up interviews with quality employers for me right away. I got a lot of interest right away but ultimately needed to step back and change gears when I had a medical issue come up. Kirk was very flexible wit me and we game planned to reconvene after my medical stuff was squared away. What sticks with me is that he called me again just to check up and ask how my health was. Kirk was super passionate about his job and gave me lots of good advice and leads. Ultimately I received a great offer from an employer independently but I recommend Kirk and the team at Express to any motivated job seeker. They took the time to know me and provide me quality opportunities. I was more than a number to them, and thats rare in my experience going through other employment agdncies.

Very Bad Service. I went in for a Welding Job and they gave me a contact so I went and applied. Not only when I did that they cancelled everything I did but they marked me as unavailable when clearly I was very available. They were extremely rude to me when they should have been on top and let me know that the place I was waiting to hear from wasnt hiring anymore so I wouldnt waste my time and theirs by calling and asking about it for two weeks. They should re-staff and find replacements for everyone who has done this before and should realize that people are busy and need things done asap. Im very disappointed in their performance and reading a lot of the other reviews I see that I am not the only one they have done this too. Why they continue to do this is beyond me but its beneath me. All in all dont go to Express Employment "Professionals"

I went there expecting for them to place me within a couple of weeks; however after the testing process and drug screening I was placed immediately. I am still working for the company they placed me with and I love it. As long as you come in with the right attitude and have the right set of skills, you will surely be placed for a job with a respectful company. I would recommend this agency over any other agency I have went through in the past. Oh and if you are honest with them and tell them you are looking for a job that will pay well, they bend over backwards to find that job for you, and in my case they did. I love this employment agency!!!!

Ive noticed this company a lot on job postings lately. I myself tried using them, I checked back regularly and many times they said I wasnt qualified when I was more than qualified for the few positions that came up. It really seems like companies like this are destroying the job market for many well qualified people, simply because now instead of hiring someone you can basically "rent" someone instead of giving them a chance. This makes companys look at people as things instead of people. Im not really biased either, Im just stating what Ive noticed over the past year or so.

Ok, heres the deal. If you want to go back to high school and youre good with the cool kid clique, you should be good to get a job. But if you are the opposite of the beautiful people they will probably treat you badly and may not make as much of an effort to place you. This is my opinion after my own experience (I was cool in school) and the experiences of three other of their prospects (one was my wife and when I went there they REFUSED to apologize to her for the way they treated her). I didnt like high school.

My experience with Express so far has been top notch. The front desk and my staffing coordinator have been truly amazing. I am relocating from Utah to Missouri and I went and visited the agency. I had interviews and offers within one day. They were all professional, courteous and supportive! I love that they drug test potential candidates as well as test them for skills as to not waste anyones time. Thank you guys for your great help!
