A very valuable service! I needed to arrange just the cremation here in Minnesota to make returning my wifes remains to Iowa easier. I was given Crescent Tides name by the medical examiner. Crescent Tide was very helpful in explaining the process, setting up an appointment for me to come in, and helping me decide on the portion of the arrangement they were involved with. When I returned to pick up my wifes remains, they provided additional helpful suggestions for the other portion of the services I was arranging through a funeral home in my wifes home town. Crescent Tides suggestions made the remainder of the service easier for me. Their interview mentioned capturing my wifes fingerprint so I could, if I chose to at a later time, make a necklace or other memorial piece. I have not followed through, but I do appreciate their helpful suggestion. One last thing that truly impressed me was the interview. During the interview before we started to make arrangements, I had expressed a desire to spread some of the ashes. When selecting an urn, they gave me an option which included a matching smaller urn. I have a small amount of her ashes and intend to visit all the places where we had fond memories and spread a pinch of her while remembering those wonderful times. It was a terrific suggestion which gives me comfort and has really helped me through the early stages of grief.

Our mom was 92 years old when she passed, as much as we loved her we could not afford $10,000.00+ funeral which seem to be the going rate when we called other funeral services. It is a state law that the funeral home must supply you with a price list of services they perform. We called about 5 different funeral homes none of which would give us prices over the phone, or offered to give us a price list when asked for one. they wanted us to come in and set down with a funeral director (another name for a salesman) I called Crescent Tide and talked with Verlin he gave me the price over the phone, he had a price list to hand to me when I asked for one. It is a sad time when you lose someone you love and out of grief you want do everything you can to feel better about the loss. Thank you Verlin for providing us with caring and sensitive services that we could afford and we feel great about bring mom to Crescent Tide.

Sitting in a hospital waiting room making arraignments for your husbands remains is one of the worst possible situations to be in. As usual, in this age, you turn to Google to research what is available. I came across Crescent Tide Cremation Services and started reading reviews. They impressed me with the stellar reviews they got from their customers. Then they truly made it to the top of the list with their pricing. It was at least a third, sometimes even half, of what others were quoting for the same services. It was an easy decision from that point and one that I have never regretted. From the reception at their front door, through the paperwork process, to the final pickup of remains, they are professional, personable, caring, and most importantly understanding. They realize that you are in unfamiliar territory and answer questions that you didnt even think about asking. I recommend them to anyone.

Crescent Tide Cremation Services was an option given me by hospice on the death of my son, April 16, 2016. I made an appt. and with family drove to the address expecting a funeral parlor. Instead it was one in a block of offices and hesitant, we entered and were immediately put at ease by the receptionist who showed us to a large meeting room. The funeral director entered, booted up his computer, and in a very calm & knowing manner asked us questions he needed to complete all necessary forms for my son’s cremation and death certificate. The director was so kind and caring, and took care of everything. At such a vulnerable time, he left me & my family members completely comforted. About half the price of anyone else in the area. Excellent, respectful staff. They dont push any expensive or additional options on you, while they have some on offer, they focus on two things: direct cremation and providing urns, which they have a nice selection of, including some very affordable basic ones that still had the level of quality that we wanted. They worked quickly, and did exactly what we needed, as well as carefully packing the urn for transport in a well-thought-out way. Extremely reliable and professional when we needed them most.

Another funeral home did our mothers cremation. Opened the urn up and was devastated by what I saw. Large pieces of bone and hardly any ashes. Was put in touch with Verlin at Crescent Tide for help. He was so sympathetic and said he would help. Bring in the urn and they would process again for us at no charge. My sisters and I cant thank them enough for taking a bad experience and turning it into a positive experience. Would highly recommend Crescent Tide customer service is outstanding. Wish we would have originally gone there. Thanks again.

With no clue where to begin or what to do next, Crescent Tide gave me direction, information, recommendations, and were so extremely helpful in a difficult time. When I was informed of my brothers impending death, I knew nothing of the funeral homes available in a city I had not lived in for over 50 years. I found Crescent Tide doing a Google search and was not disappointed; everything was handled over the phone and internet and done quickly and professionally.
