I recently shipped a hand made item to raise money for a family who lost a service member in combat in Afghanistan. The owner accepted the item, wrapped it and shipped it. When it arrived, the item was destroyed. I had taken out $500 insurance on the item. It was devastating. I went back to the store and the owner would not honor the insurance claim. He knew what this was for, yet said he was not liable. I had luckily saved my receipt and started up the chain with UPS. I discovered each location is locally owned. I turned in my claim to the Company UPS who discovered the package did not follow UPS packing guidelines, and the store owner was liable. Upon presenting with this new information, he again declined. I continued with UPS, (the Company) and found Company representatives in Salt Lake City who agreed to honor my claim. Apparently the copy of the shipping agreement the owner had was different from mine. He claimed he had written on mine he couldnt promise the package would arrive safely. He also is not suppose to ship any hand made art. Amazing he didnt know an of this, or so he claimed. I had paid him $90 to ship my item only to have it destroyed. UPS sent me a check for the item, the entire amount was donated to the Navy Seal Foundation in honor of the service man who gave his life. Go somewhere else, use another store, if you do decide to go to this location, be warned to save your receipt. Although it just might not be the receipt the owner has. I feel this individual has zero moral fiber and is not worthy of your business. Again, thank you UPS the Company for doing the right thing.

If I could give negative stars I would. Came in to ship a single small item. Usually the proprietors will give me a choice including USPS flat rate boxes. That did not occur here so I assumed that they didnt do postal services...I was wrong, Shawn just didnt offer that as an option. SHAWN charged me for EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN!!!! $28 to ship an item that I could get done for $5 at any other location. Literally a shopping list showing charges of $2.99 for a box.... $2.50 for bubble wrap.. $1.50 for a service fee???... $13.70 for the actual delivery....wont ever walk in here again. CAN YOU SAY PRICE GOUGING!!!!

Do NOT drop off packages to this location. After being refused a receipt, I emailed the owner. His response "providing a receipt would put my store and its employees at an increased risk of being held accountable should something happen to that package while in UPSs possession". There are two, The UPS Store, very close by, 101 W ARGONNE DR KIRKWOOD, MO and 9909 MANCHESTER ROAD WARSON WOODS. Both stores will give you a drop off receipt and will be accountable for your package!

Nickel and dime everything literally nothing is included. Never been treated like this at Fed Ex, USPS or even other UPS locations (they are independently owned) Dropped a package off today and couldnt even give me a receipt for a tracking number was asked "to write it down or take a picture" said thanks on my way out and wasnt even acknowledged. Im in here often and never have had a helpful or good customer service experience

I came in to mail a package to Canada at 4:30 pm. The service counter person who I know has been at the store for months tells me she has not been trained to ship packages to Canada. I am a former UPS Manager and know that this process is not that hard. I told her to call the manager, but still was unable to ship. As a shareholder of UPS I am pretty upset I had to go to the competition to mail the box

Been here 100 times. Negative reviews seems to be around UPS themselves. They are locally owned and always take care of me with a smile. I have a Des Peres business and never mind the drive over and appreciate the personal service. Many times they re-wrapped or taped things up for me with no charge.

AWFUL customer service. locked up 15 minutes early, the man operating it heard me knock on the door but refused to open it. when called they were extremely rude. please, go elsewhere
