Normally I do not where any of my marijuana shirts out due to the cruelty of others. Well yesterday Jensen needed his hair cut and I already had one of my shirts on and figured I wasnt going to change because I was curious to see the reactions I would get. Some positive but most negative. We have been going to the same salon for 3 years, Great Clips in Dillon Plaza. Just walking through Schnucks I was immediately judged by what I was wearing. I had one lady stare at my shirt with a disgusted look the entire time she walked past me until it wasnt possible to look at it anymore. As soon as I walked into the Salon it was empty and about 6 women that worked there were standing around talking. Asked me if I made an appointment, which I never do because walk-ins are welcome and I nicely told her no and let her know that Jensen just needs his usual cut. I thought I was going to be turned down to get his hair trimmed. They still made us sit and wait until they were finished talking. Finally they decided to call him up. I always stand by him because he is uncomfortable by himself. The lady that cut his hair was rough to where he complained to me that it hurt and didnt interact with Jensen or myself at all. The entire time I received dirty looks and the lady cutting his hair kept standing right in front of my rather than rotating his chair. My husband could clearly see what was going on. My husband and I received nothing but dirty looks and stares by the employees the entire time we were there. Needless to say I left extremely disappointed and disgusted. We will never return to another Great Clips again and will make sure my experience is known to everyone. I will be purchasing more medical marijuana shirts in the future and will proudly wear them! Just because someone supports marijuana does not mean they do nothing but sit on their butt and smoke all day or their bad person. I am an amazing mother and wife, I have a great job and make sure my family has what they need, I am smart and I am an amazing person. I have been in the healthcare field for over 5 years and seen marijuana change others lives! One lady for example had Glaucoma and was losing her eyesight. Marijuana kept her blood pressure down and saved her eyesight. A year later she was able to see her first grandchild. I want to prove to my amazing son not to listen to all of the naïve people out there and to do his own research and have the right to have his own opinions on things and stand up for what he believes in. Do not judge a book by its cover. Please do your research before you judge someone!
