I have been going to this Barber Shop for awhile now and it is a great place with great conversation. Tim Childers has cut my hair every time and is now cutting my two year sons hair. Tim has done amazing work and always has new ideas on how I could style my hair and my sons hair. Tim as do the other Barbers have away of just making you feel like your family. I drive thirty minutes to have Tim cut my hair and to enjoy the Brookside Barber Shop Experience. Thank you to all the Barbers especially Tim!!! Signed, Customer for life

I have recently switched to Brookside Barber Shop and was told to ask for Tim. Now it is the only place I go to get my haircut. It has a old school feel to it and I get a great cut every time for a reasonable price. Tim always does a great job with my hair as well as trimming up my beard. I highly recommend giving it a try if you need a good haircut.

Best barber shop in KC! No frills, very friendly staff and excellent service for a great price. Hardly ever have to wait long, but if I do (during peak hours) its totally worth the wait — they get it right every time. Definitely recommend giving them a shot! *Cash Only

I have been getting my hair cut at Brookside Barber Shop for the past 6 months and love it. The barber I use is Ramon Foix. The conversations are enjoyable and the hair cut is wonderful. I would recomend Brookside Barber Shop to anyone in Kansas City.

Its ok. Depends on who cuts your hair. Ive been going here for 8 or nine months. They all give traditional business haircuts, nothing fancy. They do take their time to make it worth the $18.

Best barber shop Ive found. On an entirely different level when compared to the chain barber shops out there. Wonderful atmosphere. All barbers are pros - you can not go wrong.

This is the kind of barber shop I went to in the 60s. Friendly barbers and great clientele, if you have to wait for a cut it is pleasant company. Suzanne is exceptional.

Apparently they dont know what a fade is and their cuts dont come with an edge, I even had to ask for it... Deffinately not worth $18 not even 10
