This is truly an amazing place; the atmosphere reminds me of my small town home in this big old city. Lots of laughs, good country/blue grass music, and exceptional food make this a must try when visiting Westport. After all where can you get gourmet cuisine after hours in K.C.? Why not Eat Me Gourmet in the heart of Westport. Thanks for the memories. My favorite menu item would have to be the King Beef. This is a monstrous mound of slow roasted top round beef, crispy coleslaw, fried to perfection onion straws, and their signature Dr. Smokes barbeque sauce all for just ten dollars.

this place has gone down hill so much and in the worst ways, I used to frequent this place like multiple times a week, then the service got bad, the quality followed. Ive waited for food for much much longer than quotes multiple times and havent received a receipt in the last two times that I remember. i dont understand how you can call in an order and not give the person the food they ordered when they have paid an up charge on fries or extras... but I cant prove any of this without a receipt. probably why they dont give them out. extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

Eat Me Gourmet is the best food in Westport whether youre out at 4pm or 4am. They catered my fathers 60th birthday and the family was impressed. Chef Peter Castillo not only has his Happy Hour and Regular menu available 7 days a week, but also provides an excellent Fried Chicken Special on Sunday Nights Chicken and Pickin (Bluegrass Song Swap) at The Westport Saloon, as well as many other fun menus featured around events such as Elvis Birthday, and a Sunday Gospel Brunch held in the Winter months.

To all the idiots who gave this place 1-2 stars....CALL YOUR ORDER IN!! I always get my food immediately...no complaints, quality always on point!! Best hole in the wall joint and best kept secret restaurantin town ever!! I have friends who own restaurants come eat here and theyre in awe at the food! That says a lot!

Damn good menu selection to choose from, I basically wanted it all. I had the bbq shrimp topped mac n cheese, which was delicious. Also the cheese curds and mozz sticks are sooo appetizing, especially with that special sauce its served with. Our server was so kind and talkative and really made us feel welcome!

When Chef Pedro Castillo sets his hand to prepare food, it is ALWAYS delicious. Ive eaten his catered meals at major Passover banquets for 200 and 400, and the food was always extraodinarily flavorful and well prepared. I highly recommend his restaurant and cooking.

Chef Peter makes his food fresh and delicious. His fried chicken is amazing. Hes out on the floor too when he isnt too busy in the kitchen. Hell stop by your table and ask how you like the food. Be honest, but I am sure youll only have good things to say.

Menu sounded great. Food was mediocre. Had a cuban and cajun fries. Both very soggy, fries were way over-seasoned. Couldnt eat them. Disappointed. Might give it one more shot and try their mac & cheese...

Veggie poboy is incredible. They only deliver to neighboring bars in westport. The food is ALWAYS worth the wait but add 5min on to any time they tell you.
