Worst Brazillian Blowout (BB) ever.....Ive had several BBs over the years. This was unlike no other and the results were terrible. I asked several questions when calling the shop to try to ensure I had an experienced BB stylist. Upon arrival I posed several questions and described how my hair has acted to previously BBs and what has worked well. Let me share with you my experience: step 1: Apply BB Anti residue shampoo at least 3 times. My hair was cleansed 3 times using an anti residue shampoo that no where contained the name BB. When I questioned the stylist about this, she said she did not like the BB shampoo so does not use. step 2: Separate hair and apply the BB solution. Whatever was put on my hair was a rusty color. In the past, I remember the color has been white. Not sure if it has changed color in the past 8 months! step 3: Dry the hair as straight as possible using a paddle or round brush. My hair was no where straight and I must say this was the worst blow out (blowdry) I have ever received. Did I mentioned she burned my scalp while drying at least 2 times during the drying process! step 4: Flat iron in small sections with a 450 degree iron. The stylist used small sections and passed through the hair several times. Problem was, every time she would pass the iron through my hair it felt very scraggly and would pull. I immediately questioned why this was happening and she replied it was because she was using such a small iron (1" vs 2"). What did she say???? I use a 1" chi flat iron daily on my hair and it never feels like that.....Are you sure it just wasnt because the flat iron was so cheep???? I dont even know if it had a temp dial on it. I should also say in applications before during steps 3-4 I could always smell a distinctive smell (formaldehyde) at this steps and frequently my eyes would get irritated. Not with this blowout. Nothing of the sort happened. Step 5: Rinse hair with warm water. She used freezing water Step 6: Apply BB masque-Nothing was applied at all to my hair Step 7: Apply smoothing serum and Blow-dry...repeat.....nothing was applied to my hair after the second wash. In the past, my hair after a BB would blow dry in half the time, would be straight and not need to be flat ironed, and would be sleek and shiny. Not this BB. It takes me at least 25 minutes to dry my hair, I have to use a flat iron after every blow dry, and my hair now has all these fly-away frizzies that were not there prior to going to this stylist. It was a waste of $ and now my hair looks worse than before I arrived. Im very disappointed in this shop and how they advertise BB. You have to be certified in giving a BB and they did not follow the companies recommendations at all. Im guessing they wanted to save $ by not using the actual BB products. Would not recommend this shop at all for a BB!

Long story Short: Dont go here. . I got the keratin smoothing treatment done on 21st of June 2017 thru Groupon coupon. Before taking the treatment I had called and got confirmation about the product (GK product) and procedure being done for this treatment. After 3 long hours of treatment they asked to take care of hair and wash after 48hrs. As advised by them I took proper care but after first wash my hair was back to normal, not even slight difference. Was worried about the 100 dollars I had spent and called the salon regarding my disaster treatment they have done on my hair and later the salon manager called me and spoke and I said the same story which happened. Thru emails I shared my hair pic before and after treatment, after a hr I got a reply by saying " I am issuing you a $50 gift card. Normally we perform a service like this again if there is an issue. That is the best I can do if your are not willing to come in and have it checked or redone." I totally have lost hope of this salon on doing the treatment for the second time. I have been asking for a refund or a free of cost redo through emails and calls. The calls are picked up by the staff and they have no clue about their manager and my emails have been unanswered over the past couple of weeks. Totally unprofessional behavior!!!! Not recommended at all. .

I first had my hair done by the owner Jodie Hudson 12 years ago, my stylist who was a stylist for team matix traveled and did hair shows to all the major hair salons in the usa. Well she was travling and i needed a cut and highlights yeah i know im a guy but the chicks love it. Anyway she cut and did my hair and she was amazing my hair had never looked that good and to this day jodie hudson owner of lakeview salon is the only person to touch my hair. i went out of the country for 4 years for work in germany and came back with 19 inches of hair i refuse to let anyone touch my hair since my experience with lakeview salon and jodie hudson. once she cuts your hair once she remembers how your hair is and cuts it perfect everytime. i dont even tell her what to do i let her do what she wants and my hair is always perfect. if you want a perfect stylist visit jodie. One word Perfect......

I went here today, 11 Sept 2015. I set an appointment up online, which was super easy. I walked in and the gals there were very welcoming, felt like going into a salon I had been going to for years. I showed Kelly, my stylist, some older photos of a hair style I had a while back and loved. She was wonderful! She talked everything through with me, double checked everything before cutting my hair. The end result is MY style I loved so long ago. I am so happy and thankful, I will absolutely be booking another appointment for my trimming when needed. Thank you gals at Lakeview Hair Salon for being so amazing today!

I have been going to Lakeview Hair Salon for 3 or 4 years now. I love it and give it 5 stars. The staff is very friendly but above all they know what they are doing. I get more compliments on my haircut and color than I ever did when I went other places. Friends will still tell me how great my hair always looks. Jodi runs a great salon and she and her staff are tops!!! Wont find me going anywere else and I always recommend them.Ava

I usually schedule my haircuts during my lunch, and have limited time. I thought I would try this place out as local and close to work. Had a 1:30 appointment. I arrived on time and sat in the front for 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. Then after they yelled at someone in back, one of the stylist let me know that my wait would be 25 minutes. I politely excused myself scared to death of what the haircut would be like.
