Ive been going to Hair World since 2009, but I will not be returning after my experience there with Jakky Mischlipsy. I made an appointment with her to have my hair dyed a pastel purple. When I left that day, my hair was grey. My friends and family could not even see purple in it. I called her later that day, and she agreed to fix my hair a few days later. When I left the second time, my hair was purple, but still barely resembled the picture I had showed her. It was much darker. Jakky told me the color should last about four weeks. Despite me following her instructions on washing it every other day, and purchasing a special shampoo from Hair World, the color has faded almost completely in less than one week.

The first time I went there it was amazing if you got here make sure you ask for the lady Beth she is amazing but this time that I went there I got my hair cut to shoulder length and the lady she had hair that was really dark but in the light it was kinda a shade of purple so if you are going to get you hair cut dont get it done by that lady she cut it dry and it was super choppy I have underneath my hair and the blue was about a inch longer then my blond so bad

Your experience will depend on the stylist you get. Our first time here was amazing, the stylist did a great job. Our most recent visit, this last week, was horrid. The stylist was friendly but did a horrible job on my daughters hair. She did a dry cut on super thick hair cutting off 8 inches! Ive never seen that done and thought shed wash my daughters hair first or wet the hair first but I trusted the professional.

Allison Pratt was there at the same time I was. She seemed happy with her hair & told Jakky she liked it. Before putting a bad review online, perhaps you should let your stylist know youre unhappy. Knowing Jakky, she would not have let anyone leave unhappy. Shes a phenomenal stylist who truly cares about her clients.
