DANGER..ALERT...They only care your money not you. when I signed up for OFC,they introduced me to a custom built person and he explained me one of their program which costs $$$ which is valid for a year, and I signed for that program. After a month when I was checking my credit card balance sheet their was some $$$ charge from custom built and when I asked them about that they told me that they dont have any such program and they showed my paper on their computer which shows a different program which costs me more than double the amount for which I signed earlier. I explained them what was told to me about the program and asked to call the person with whom I signed up, they told me that they fired him because of these kind of complaints against him and just told me that they can not do any thing and gave me a number which is even more worst because of the way they responded to my call. After a couple of discussions with custom built and OFC manager I came to know that it is useless now because even if i cancel my membership it costs me even more double amount which I have already been robbed. the biggest question what i kept on asking them and did not got any answer from them other than "WE DONT KNOW" was how did they changed the amount on my signed paper which was not the same when i signed up for the program.(I was new to this system so he cheated me by not giving me a copy of the contract and i was left with no proof). OFC gave me a card of one month free period for my wife but now we are not going to sigh up for OFC again and also advised for some of my friends who recently moved to Springfield to not to join OFC and custom built, so all of my friends joined another fitness center ***************along with my wife and are happy with the facilities and with the price as well and I will also join them as soon as i finish contract with OFC. BEWARE before you join and before you SIGN, its all a big scheme to rip you off as much as possible. specially be careful with the ROBBERS in the name of custom built.

I wish I could select zero stars for this review. This company is nothing more than a money sucking machine. If you work hard for every penny you make, like I do, please make sure to stay away from this establishment. First off, the facilities are not spectacular. The location is very limited and the equipment insufficient for the amount of contracts they are dying to sign. Second, the customer service is worse than anything Ive experienced so far. I had come in several times to cancel my account. The first time, I got told someone would call me back because I had some group classes on there and they didnt know how I could use those. No one ever called. I went back in to cancel, and had to wait 20 minutes until someone spent 2 minutes to go through my cancellation. I paid the fee, then I still got charged the next month because I didnt give them enough notice. I came in 22 before my account would be charged and they require 30 days notice, thing that no one has mentioned. Furthermore, when I asked the guy if he was to process my paperwork so I dont get charged the next month, he said he would take care of it. I called to ask about it and surprise! They dont issue refunds. They will do ANYTHING to real you into a contract so they take your money. It was the biggest waste of $500 Ive ever spent. I work two weeks to make up that money and pay every single bill that comes to my house. Its disgusting that they take innocent peoples money just to add another tally to their contract list. Safe to say I will never step foot in there again.

My boyfriend and I got lied to by the salesman. We signed up together because we heard good things about this gym from my friend. The salesman told us that we can pay for a single membership but still get in together because they were offering a special unlimited 6 month buddy pass that automatically renews every 6 months. Not true. It expired after the first 6 months, but for some reason they kept letting me in until recently (its been a year). My boyfriend asked the salesman initially if I can get in alone since we only get one key tag, and he said yes, very surely. Not true. We went in the other day to get help, and all they tried to do was sell me my own contract. They didnt seem very concerned about helping the situation or that their employee lied to us. I understand this to an extent, because it is our fault for signing the contract, but I think this is the way they do business. They tell you anything you need to hear to get you to sign that contract. The same bad things that so many people said about Ozarks Fitness are the things that happened to us. Dont trust them just because they changed their name. My boyfriend is stuck paying $45 a month for a single gym membership because you CANNOT cancel your membership. Im upset that we fell for this. Run far away from this gym, or if you must sign up, MAKE THE SALESPERSON WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING HE OR SHE SAYS ON THE CONTRACT.

READ INTERNET REVIEWS ON CUSTOM BUILIT PERSONAL TRAINING and save yourself a lot of grief. The gym uses this group as a contractor in their gym. Read the complaints and contact the Better Business Bureau and draw your own conclusions. Beware of how sales will interpret the Ozark gym contract. Our sales person said that the family membership included privileges for our daughters as soon as they were of age. Not so....family membership we were later told as we brought our daughter into the gym, just meant the husband and wife.....BEWARE....DO NOT TRUST THEM. The gym will not honor what sales says or their interpretation/explanations of the agreement....read the written contract carefully and never leave until you get your own copy even if they do tell you the copier is not available. Items were added to my personal training contract after my signature and I did not have a copy of the contract as it was when I signed. It cost me over 400 to cancel. They will tell you what you want to hear just to get you to sign. Also, the gym does not enforce people mopping up sweat, or even remind them. Be prepared to wipe down your machines BEFORE you get on or you may sit in a slimy mess. I usually pass on the shower due to malfunctioning shower heads and lack of cleanliness. Its a cheap gym, but that is the only advantage.

I dont usually post reviews because I know how much it can affect a business but what a bunch of crooks man. I signed up a year and a half ago and paid $46 bucks a month with a $30 annual fee. I know gym memberships are a contract, but Ive never seen anything like this. The girl who signed me up told me the ETF for the membership is $150. Its actually $275 unless youre moving somewhere that doesnt have a genesis in which case they still make you pay $150.00. Ive got six months left so I figured screw it Ill just pay the $40 bucks instead. There arent very many machines anyway and I should have known how it was going to be by the phone calls I received every single day harassing me to sign up. My best friend cancelled her membership on the 10th of April and they continued to bill her $60 the next month and when she called they told her she has to give them 30 day notice, which is silly because she already paid for the month of April at the end of March. If you only want a year membership $60 is ridiculous. The equipment isnt worth the money whatsoever. The level 1 tanning isnt extraordinary. I think Ill take myself to planet fitness and pay 20 no contract for better tanning beds and more equipment. I can get my run on there and I can do without the arrogance of the staff and the "Were better than everyone else" atmosphere.
