This place is a joke. I was so overly disgusted with the rude service I got I will never go back. I went there for the first time a while back and from the second I walked in I felt out of place.I went in for a haircut and a pedicure. They did not make me feel welcome, in fact when I approached the front desk the girl behind the desk seems quiet annoyed that I was bothering her. She was very short and would not smile once. Then I went back for my pedicure and was not pleased with how rude my nail tech was. She didnt seem to want to be there. I made more conversation with the tech Ashley next to her and the client she had than my own tech. My haircut was sub par but I was not overly pleased with it even though my stylist was nice enough. All together my experience there was not thrilling. I read the other reviews and see they are from clients who have gone for a long time, and I wonder how people got past the rude people who work there to want to come back?! This girl will not be a returning customer nor will I refer my friends.

I used to go here more frequently, but now its really only when my family gives me a gift card - and I recently told them I dont want another gift card from Sanctuary. Their staff can come across as untrained in the basics of making customers feel welcome. Call to make an appointment - youre put on hold. The person who finally answers the phone speaks mostly in monosyllables and offers you one appointment time - two, if you insist - in the next 2 weeks. When you arrive, nobody acknowledges you for several minutes, although there are several employees standing at the reception desk, and then you wait 5, 10, as long as 20 minutes or more for services you reserved 2 weeks in advance and arrived on time for. Youre a number in a place thats very busy and isnt very concerned about whether you come back or not. The salon and spa services are fine, but not special enough to compensate for walking out feeling processed through rather than taken good care of.

I have been using theSanctuarys spa services for several years now and always excited for my next visit. I am able to go early and enjoy the steamroom, then relax in the spa waiting area...love the dim lighting, soft music and sipping the hot tea in the solitude away from the salon and reception area. Even though the area is small I have never felt as though it was congested. They are great about making sure everyone is comfortable with a drink and neck wrap before and after services. All the gals are great, but I really appreciate the extra attention Karmen gives to finding and working out those knots and kinks. Their gift cards are great I have given them out as gifts for baby showers, bridal showers, etc... and it takes the guess work out of what to buy me.... my hubby gets me a gift card every year for my birthday and loads it up so it is the gift that gives all through the year.

Today I decided to give Sanctuary Spa a second chance. I have been using various services there since 2005. I used to receive great service, but recently in the past few years, I have had some bad experiences from getting my eyes burned by hot wax to walking around with the wrong hair color not to mention, the unfinished haircut. The last time I tried to contact the stylist to fix the cut, I found out she no longer works there, so I guess she doesnt have to fix her mistake. Then today I received a new stylist thinking fresh start, however this lady was so rude, almost mean. I had to leave before she took her unhappy behavior out on me. I think Sanctuary in going downhill fast in the customer service department. Would not go back .

Dear Sanctuary Spa, I have to say you are te one and only spa I go to and have been going to for nearly ten years. I love the atmosphere, the customer service and the spa facilities that I feel are a notch above the rest, I have travelled and experienced quite a few different locations but none had ever measured to the comfort and style Sanctuary had provided. For the past few birthdays alone I have a standing appointment to treat myself because you always deliver a fantastic experience. The massages, facials and pedicures are my absolute favorite!!! Thanks so much for being there and I love the new spa facilities, they are gorgeous!!! Emily

Ive booked a couple spa packages here for my gf and her mom and they both love Sanctuary. The service to me over the phone was outstanding and I really appreciated the text & email appointment reminders as an assurance that my reservation hadnt been lost. I would highly reccomend Sanctuary.

I love all the girls at Sanctuary. Have been going the for several years and had only one substandard service...which was immediately addressed and taken care of. I always feel welcomed and pampered. Special kudos for Johnna and Ashley. Thanks to the entire staff for doing a super job!

For $120 I got a very ugly haircut from a girl who just got hired when I made an appt with a master stylist. Also my color was done from another newby who was constantly checking how to mix color with her coworker. She seemed unsure of herself and now I live with her horrendous results.

About the spa: They pampered me and were very professional. The atmosphere was calming and soothing. I received a wonderful massage and you can enjoy the steam room before or after your massage. The only negatives are the steam room is very small and the spa area is also very small.

Went for my first massage ever. Scheduling was easy - staff was more than friendly - Sam the masseuse was friggin fantastic and I cant say anything bad at all about my experience. Go early for the steam room and dont go back to work after youre done. A+

The service at the Sanctuary is alway amazing. I love, love, love the scalp massage pre hair cut. I recommend Katy. She is wonderful and really gives good feedback and ideas to you. I can not wait for her to return from maternity leave!!!!

I have had my hair done twicw now by Alice. Both times i have had a cut and color and Alice did a wonderful job. She had a great personality and very easy to talk to. I would highly recamend this salon and Alice.

I have always had great service here! Wonderful atmosphere. 1 bad recent haircut, needed to get in and went with the one available, bad idea anywhere! So relaxing in the spa area and nail ladies are so talented!
