Came to this place on recommendation and i highly regret it. As soon as i stepped in i wasnt greeted i went to to the desk had to ask what i have to do cause clearly she was too busy to greet me finally im told to sign in and wait i didnt wait long past my appoinment time so i appreciated that. My hair stylist was laura i showed her the picture of the popular grey color tons of people have now she told me itll depend on how light my hair got didnt indicate that she thought it wouldnt get nearly light enough. So she bleaches it doesnt introduce herself doesnt talk to me but ok so she sends me to the heating chair i wait till she says im done she looks at my hair sends me to the wash station at this point i think its going good since she didnt say anything so i ask her and she says it didnt take well i was confused because not even 2 months prior i bleached my own hair with sallys products. Im in the wash station for a while she isnt telling me how the process is going or when she puts the color in nothing. Then she brushes my hair super rough finally after everything is done i get sent back to the chair to get my cut and style at this point still havent seen anything of my hair. She dries it and cuts it i did like the cut i will give her that. But as she is doing my cut i finally get a glance in the mirror i absolutely hated what i saw i had some weird brown highlights i was about to cry in the chair i was so upset. After all was said and done they knew how unsatisfied i was because they told me every reason why the bleach didnt work cause my hair was too dark to dead i needed conditioning treatments and i had previously dyed hair. If they would have told me there was a possibility of me leaving the salon with what i had i would have walked out and gone somewhere else or done it myself. Mind you my stylist and the front desk lady were all saying this behind the desk wispering to eachother while i was 2 feet away. All they said was they could do a conditioning cap to take out the toner which would have the possibility of lightening the rest of my hair to a brown as well which i absolutly did not want i already had weird brown streaks so i declined and paid the $135 for my mess of a hair that im going to have to get fixed anyways and left. I was in tears when i got home i hate it.

Before you go to Ross Hair Salon remember...dont judge a book by its cover! Its not the nicest establishment cosmetically speaking. You have to get buzzed in at the front door which made me a little nervous. I started to wonder if I was in a safe neighborhood. It was a zoo inside! Stylist running around bouncing clients from chair to chair. They would start on one client, put them under the dryer, and start another one. It was my first visit. A friend of mine has gorgeous hair so I asked where she gets it done. She tells me Ross Hair Salon. I go ahead and make an appointment. I arrived on time. Waited 30 minutes before I finally decided to ask, "how much longer." I was told by the receptionist 15 minutes. Finally, I go back and start getting bounced around. I went from getting my hair shampooed, to waiting with a towel on my head to return to my seat (she had started another client while the assistant washed my hair), and going under the dryer where I spent 40 minutes of my time. Thankfully, my stylist, Laura, did a fantastic job on my hair! In the end would I say all the hassle, was worth it? The jury is still out on that one. I do love my hair. I asked my stylist if it was always this chaotic and she said only around income tax season. I think I will come back one more time during a less crazy time frame to avoid the madness. Then well see if the experience is better.

!!!nightmare!!! the only reason I give it a one star is for what it used to be but I just recently went and my hair got totally slaughtered I have a lot of hair I have thick hair thankfully...asked for a particular hairdo besides the fact of the regular hair stylist that I go to because its not about money I asked for them to let me know who would be best for my hair color Im very particular about who dies my hair Ive perfected my own hair colors over 20 years"now", I have pictures of all my different hair colors and how beautiful my hair was, well needless to say after my visit I leave the salon for the second visit being I needed a touch up,,,with my hair falling in chunks cant even run my fingers through my head because Im scared that its going to keep falling out!!! My sylists cover up was to just tie my hair up because Id get charged 15$ for blow drying"""!? really???!!! color is a total mess nothing like what I asked for not to mention that my hair had already gotten butchered and got cut more than what I asked for... "a simple trim" I would not recommend this place to anybody" suing wouldve been best, as Im there the stylist that messed up my hair didnt ever apologize! She clearly had to see all the chunks of hair missing! ...by the the time I get a whole full set of hair!!!!!

Horrible place, the worst experience ever. I have had the same hair stylist for ages but when he "retired I tried the ross. The worst mistake ever!. They assured me my color/hair cut would take 2hrs...it took 4. I rushed out of there so fast due to running so late they didnt bother to clean the excess color on my ears, forhead and the back of my neck. When I finally got a good look at my hair at home I was horrified. I called and they did a redo. Great! But I used their paul Mitchell sample packs to wash my hair after day 2 of color correction (which was their recommendation) and my hair color washed out almost completely. I called and they did my hair color again back to a natural looking hair color because I was sick of these people and their crappy service but I paid big bucks for my hair and I was not willing to wash my money completely down the drain. O and the staff had lots of dirt looks, Attitude, and smart remarks. I work dam hard for my money and I pay good money to at least a decent if not the best service but never again will I go back. Throughout this whole process I remained calm, polite, professional, which is not what I received in return.

I wont call her a stylist because that shes definitely not! Blanca was her name. After she burned chunks off my hair she left it the color I specifically told her I didnt want. She did a redo but after staying there from 2:45pm until 8:20 pm I was just ready to leave. She left her helpers doing all the running around. I felt sorry for then because they did most of the work. Anyways if youre trying to change colors do NOT let Blanca do it for you.. .. Its all about the money not your look. If I could post a picture of before I went in and after I cane out I would. I wont even mention what it looked like the next day. Just heed the warning with this chic. Eva is the owner. She was wonderful. She corrected as much as she could and treated my hair. She gave me a product free of charge to help with the courseness. Dont get me wrong, the staff was great! All of the other staff made you feel happy and welcomed. Its a cozy environment. Just watch out with who you let do your hair.
