I had an amazing experience with Marshall Realty. First, understand I am fairly cynical and skeptical by nature. I was sure that having to "short sale" my home, especially with a second mortgage; There was no way I was going to come out on the other side without a ton of stress and worry. Well I was wrong! Jon Hughes was so good at his job. That I literally didnt have to do a thing. My own curiosity about how things were going, had me contacting him often. Turns out I didnt need to. Jon always contacted me when something needed to be done. He got the the point and spoke in lay-mans terms not "bank speak". From the time my home went on the market to closing the sale was less than 5 months. Both banks agreed to the sale, and in the stated deal, neither bank could sue me. I will have to deal with IRS for tax purposes regarding the property, but that is worth it considering the alternative...foreclosure. I highly recommend Marshall, especially regarding short sales. Other realtors said things to me like " well its a real tough road to short sale" or "YOU (meaning me personally) have to get the bank to work with you". That turns out not to be true through Marshall. Jon did ALL the necessary work and all I had to do was follow through when they needed me too and sign closing documents when it was done. At the beginning it started out good. Marshall took the listing and after that never heard from him throughout the ordeal. It took three calls to get the listing worded correctly and still it was lacking. We got the shaft when we opted for the tv showing. Our house never made it to the home of the week showing. (BIG waste of money). Another disappointment was Marshall Realty never brought in a client. After we received two offers no one from Marshall contacted us to review. I had to make calls to discuss the offer and to understand the "realty jargon" of those offers. Very poor service. And to really make matters worse after the sale and close of the property and the money they made there was not one single thank you form anyone. So beware of Marshall Realty not a lot of help you can pick any realtor, they will list on MLS and shoot pictures of your home. Its the one who brings the clients that will sell your home. Look into Re Max they are motivated.

I would Recommend Marshall Realty to anyone one who wants a very Professional, Prompt & Very Friendly Realtor, I have not sold a lot of homes in my time but Marshall just recently sold mine and my parents home in record time. One home had an offer within 5 days with 4 showings the other in 13 days with 8 showings and have not had any glitches what so ever thanks to Katrina and her team. Katrina, Logan, Mariah and Michaela have been nothing but a pleasure to work with and always had an answer or got right back to me with one for any questions that came up in the process. Even the receptionist was professional & never gave you the runaround. I was really having a hard time when I made the decision to short sale my house. There was so much information available, and I didnt know exactly what applied to my situation and what didnt. The bank was so uncooperative and making things so difficult it was hard to take care of all the everyday things in life. Finally I was referred to Marshall Realty and everything changed. They were so professional and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and new exactly how to proceed. They took over all of the time consuming business of dealing with the bank.
