Negative Birthday Experience. First time at Cheesecake Factory and we were disappointed. Upon a late Monday arrival the place seemed slow, I would say 6-8 tables being served. I took my family out for dinner as we were celebrating my girlfriends birthday around 7:30PM. Well heres how our evening went, First the young host was very professional and kind in sitting us. We didnt get acknowledge by the waiter until about 15 minutes or so, keep in mind its a slow night. Once she arrived she asked what we needed to drink and didnt even welcome us or even ask if we were celebrating anything special like other normal restaurants do. Regardless we didnt pay much attention to it and carried on with making our meal decision. Another 10 minutes go by and then we order our meals. We ordered two fillet mignons and the kids got a kids pizza and grilled cheese. We waited a good 50 minutes for our food to come out and rarely even saw the waiter. I figured since we ordered steak one mid well and one medium that maybe its taking longer and keep in mind its a slow night and I can only imagine when its busy, Maybe a two hour wait to eat. Once the food got here the medium well was pretty much burnt. the medium was burnt on the outside and super bloody on the inside. We were disappointed in the whole experience and specially the meal, I must say the kids meals were better than ours. This came to my conclusions to why it was so slow. I am sure other guests realized there is better restaurants and avoid the Cheesecake. Regardless we didnt complain in person nor need to be contacted. I just feel you need to pay attention to the order times and the food quality. Hope things change around and we can have a better experience next time. Also ask your waiters to be more welcoming!!!

Overall: A sprawling menu of choices and a lot of disappointment. Not worth the price of admission. Service: My girlfriend and I came here and were seated right away. The front of house staff were friendly--a little flighty and apologetic, but still attentive to our needs. The back of house was a nightmare. We ordered soft tacos and an appetizer and didnt hear anything for thirty minutes. At that point, our waitress told us it would be another 3 minutes or so. 12 minutes later, the manager came to our table and apologized: they were running behind, hed just looked at the chicken for the tacos and it was almost done--just 7 more minutes. 15 minutes later our food arrived. (Full time for our visit was roughly an hour and a half). Food: I came here to try the cheesecake, but decided Id get some Cuban Rolls as well. While the dipping sauce was fine and the rolls were wrapped well, the frier saturated their flavour and texture to the point that they were like microwavable, pastrami taquitos. One difference is that Ive never found a bone in microwavable taquitos. Thats right. Not a ligament, but a full-on bone. I showed it to the waitress and she just said, "Oh. Can I get you two something for dessert?" Well, we came there for dessert after all, so we muscled on. We tried their strawberry cheesecake. It has good flavour and texture, but very noticeably came out of a box from their distributor. Not really what I was expecting for the price. Ambiance: The redeeming quality of this place is its lovely decor. The colour scheme and layout are comfortable and bright without being gaudy. Unfortunately, much of that is wasted if they choose to pack you into one of their diner-style cubicles.

The ambiance was fine. The service was attentive but they could not overcome the lackluster food. The bread basket had a chunk of white that was supposed to be a baguette; the crust had no snap and the crumb was stretchy, the flavor was tart with a hint of vinegar. The other bread was brown in color and had been rolled in rolled oats. How they cooked it without developing any toasty goodness in the oats escapes me. The crumb was soft and without structure. The flavor was simply sweet. For dinner I had the "Cuban rolls" and a bowl of French onion soup. The rolls: described as the flavors of a Cuban sandwich in a wonton wrapper. The wrapper was the best part, the filling was mush, hints of pork smothered in melted "cheese". The dipping sauce was mustard with chopped pickles and totally overwhelmed all the other flavors; this was not a bad thing. The soup - I love French onion soup and make it often; this was not that. It arrived and the first thing I noticed was a heavy layer of oil. Giving it the benefit of the doubt I ate some, who knows, it could have been a tasty layer of butter, but no.The soup itself was thin and lacking in flavor, as were the onions.

I would give this restaurant five stars but Im fortunately it only gets three due to the lack of customer service when it comes to seating people. For the last three years myself and my family have been coming to The restaurant to celebrate a birthday and its always on a Saturday. Ive called ahead of time il each one of these birthdays to arrange for a table large enough for the party. This year is the first year in which they cannot fill my request as Ive done the past couple years. In the past when I would call to make the arrangements Ive always asked me to call just before ready to come in and I put me down and they get the table ready. This time Im told that they can go ahead and get it ready when I come in. I find that this is unreasonable when you have a large party and you have children that youre trying to keep occupied while they are setting up a table. Its not like theyre going to lose business because I have a large party which means a large tap. I am really highly considering taking my business elsewhere since They cant seem to accommodate. What a shame.

We were really excited to try The Cheesecake Factory only to be highly disappointed. We were sat quickly (only positive). Took about 15 minutes for our waiter to ask us for our drink order, then another 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Add 30 minutes for them to come take our order... they were busy so we dealt with it and gave them the benefit of the doubt. I ordered one of the combinations of Steak Diane and shrimp scampi, which consisted of three tiny pecies of over peppered steak and 3 breaded shrimp (scampi I guess) and some mashed potatos. The mashed potatos were the only decent thing on my plate! My husband has the steak Diane combination with some type of chicken, again small pieces of steak over peppered and a small pices of dry chicken. Even my sons spaghetti and meatballs came with one dry sorry meatball and barely any mariners sauce. Not to mention the food took 45 minutes to come out to us! I would never go to back to this overpriced restaurant in my life. Spend your money elsewhere.

Its a hit or miss with this place. I love there wheat bead and there carrot cake, but food wise. Sometimes it is burnt and sometimes it just doesnt taste the same. They used to have this garlic pasta I love. It has been removed. I ordered the flatbread and a spring roll the last time I went. The spring roll cost about 6 dollars and was small. A quarter of the size at a Vietnamese restaraunts and barely gets your appetite going. We also, had the mushrooms tasted great, but they were like mini mushrooms. Also pretty tiny. I suggest getting different appetizers. My flatbread was burnt and all I could taste was burnt bread. I tried to eat it, but couldnt finish. My friend got the skinnylicious chicken sandwich. That was bomb. She recommends that. My experience though not the best. I rarely eat here, so I guess Im or sure whats good to order as a snack or as a meal. One time I got there Shepard pie and it wasnt to my liking it was different from the ones people have made me. Maybe too fancy for me.
