I cannot rave enough about Boho. Their space is beautiful, the atmosphere has great energy and not to mention, the stylists are great at what they do. It has a boutique, boho chic - New York esque vibe and I love that this salon isn’t just a space to get your hair done. They host different workshops (macrame, beauty foods, blowouts etc) and offer many other services. How did I get introduced to Boho? Chelsea Bruno, one of the Boho Babes has been my stylist for the past 6 years and when she moves to a new salon, I (as well as many others) move with her. She is the master mind behind the many looks (cut and color) I’ve had throughout the years and I trust her with everything. If you are Asian (or just have really dark hair- Lord knows I’ve seen too many Asians with bad blonde jobs) and if you have to go to your stylist multiple times just to lift your hair to the proper blonde, I am so sorry. Chelsea is an expert at this as I’ve never had a problem with my hair turning orange or being unable to lift. Lets just say, I hope she never moves out of NJ and if I move, I’d probably only be able to get my hair done when I’m back in town! Because she is now at Boho, I have gotten to see the work of the other stylists. I have very high standards for hair and when I believe in someones work. I spread their names like wild fire. There is not one stylist there who doesn’t do a great job and understand what their clients want. Sally, the owner of Boho is just the sweetest as well. I have worked closely with her on a couple shoots and have been in awe by her as she works quickly and efficiently. She is the queen of Bridal hair so ladies, if you’re looking for a hairstylist for your big day, she’s your girl.

Boho Hair Salon and the Boho Bridal Experience was one of the best decisions I made for my Wedding! Sally Monterrosa and team were there every step of the way with creative ideas and impeccable execution that left me feeling and looking my best throughout the entire planning process! In the lead up to my wedding Sally worked with me to find a great makeup artist, coordinate and style my hair for my engagement shoot, give my locks a healthy cut six months out, and she even hand painted bayalage into my hair with three weeks to go! A unique service she offers is the three option photographed hair trial - I definitely recommend booking this so you can test out some choices and make your big decision! The Boho team was always easy to reach via email and phone and extremely helpful in booking and organizing all of my appointments! On the day of the wedding, Sally and team arrived EARLY to set up their space and finished ahead of schedule! I had 14 people getting styled and every one of us LOVED our hair! We are an opinionated group with many previous weddings between us and not one of us was disappointed! Sally was also extremely helpful in keeping the chaos of the prep room under control and running smoothly, too! I cannot thank Sally, Ashley, and the rest of the Boho team enough for everything they did to make me feel so beautiful over the past year! If you are looking for a stress-free, gorgeous hair experience look no further! Definitely book Boho Bridal - you will not be disappointed!!

i had a fantastic experience at boho hair salon, sally and all the ladies who work there are awesome. the salon just oozes good vibes and the atmosphere is really pretty and chill. i came in with like 57 pinterest picture ideas and sally, who was my stylist, basically combined all 57 pinterest ideas and made it happen on my head. i cut off like 5 inches of my hair, and went for an ash blonde balayage [i have black hair]. it took about 5 hours, and she told me from the beginning, you might not get the color you want because the change is so drastic, but she made it happen! i can honestly say ive never gotten a better cut either, she really listened to what i wanted and got a sense of my style and aesthetic and just slayed my haircut and color completely. im new to the area so im so happy i found my new hair salon! oh ps, they have wine and good music plays throughout the salon. 5 stars!

Sally is the absolute best!! I hired Sally in 2014 for my wedding and thanks to her my wedding hair dreams came true not only for myself but for my family and bridesmaids! Since opening the salon, Ive been seeing her for both cut and color and have never been happier! She is a true hair artist and perfectionist. Im a natural dark brunette and she gives me the most beautiful golden, honey balayage that looks natural and never turns brassy for months. The salon is gorgeous and her is staff extremely friendly and professional. Ive sent many clients her way and all have been extremely happy with their results. Totally worth the trip from NYC and I will be a loyal client always!

Sally and her team are amazing, dont hesitate for a second and try to get an appointment with any of the stylists! Ive been going since they opened, and this time I had the super sweet Janet give me a whole head foil and dye it bubblegum pink, which is my usual do. Her cut was perfect and I love the results, and I barely gave her any direction! Definitely *the* place to go if you want to be a natural and flattering blonde, but the girls are so talented they can even make this pink haired chick look good! Not to mention Sally is all about promoting and supporting other local lady bosses. Cheers ladies!

What a fantastic group of professionals. Sally and the team are definitely expert in their field. I was thrilled with the result and enjoyed the salon experience from start to finish. From start: Sally was inquisitive, attentive and confirmed that she understood what I was asking for. To Finish: That was more than obvious when she turned me toward the mirror to see the final result. Thank you Sally and the Boho team for a relaxing and rewarding afternoon that left me feeling great about myself! For the record, my husband agreed. So much so that he whisked me off to dinner out as soon as I got home!

Boho hair salon is not only incredibly beautiful and comfortable. It is also filled with some of the sweetest people. I was lucky enough to call and get Ashley on the phone. She so kindly was able to find me a last minute hair cut appointment with no problem at all. I saw Chelsea for my haircut and she gave me a shorter textured bob. When i sat down I told her do whatever you think and she used her talent and artistry to give me the most AMAZING hair cut. I LOVE my hair cut and I will 100% be back. Thank you Boho for creating such a beautiful atmosphere!

This place needs reviews! I went here the 2nd time to get my hair colored by Chelsea. She went above and beyond to make my hair goals reality! I spent 6 hours in the salon and observed so many clients coming in and leaving overjoyed with their results! The staff is friendly and full of compliments! I dont know if they have some sort of compliment quota but all day the staff members were complimenting each other and the customers !! Youll leave feeling and looking beautiful as every person should!
