First of all, "Anonoymus" is spelled wrong, its "Anonymous." Second of all, this child care center has the most structured, educational, and caring atmosphere then any other center. EVERY staff member is fully qualified to teach here and it is their passion, especially the owner. She is constantly signing staff up for workshops and every single teacher has their required hours. I am very close with Alison and I know for a fact all the hard work and dedication that she puts into her center. The cleaning routine is done every day and every toy is cleaned within the week. Every night the carpets are vacuumed and floors are mopped. Not only is this child care center clean, it is a structured and student-centered. The teachers are trained to teach the children using multiple intelligences (visual, spacial, logical, linguistic, musical, bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal) throughout their circle time and stations. As for the owner Alison, She has been caring for children for over twenty years. This is her passion and she spends a great amount of money and time to make this environment the best for the children. She is constantly buying new toys and supplies, she provides accommodations for children and parents, she becomes extremely involved with the families and she is there every single day! As for short staff? There are ALWAYS two teachers in the room or the right amount children to teacher ratio, which is decided by the state. If Alison was in it for the money, she would have been running this center like all the other centers in Ocean County, but she isnt in it for the money TRUST ME. I am the Kindergarten teacher, I make sure my students have the BEST education. My students learn twice as much as the students who attend public schools. I work extremely hard on my lesson plans. I am dedicated to the children, inspired by the children, and do whatever it takes to make sure my students have an advanced start to 1st grade. By the end of the year, my students can start to tell time, count money, add and subtract, can have a conversation is Spanish and Sign Language, read and write, take spelling tests, learn responsibility, and the list continues. The Pre-K room is just as organized and the teachers take the time to plan and use many resources to teach the children. As for the toddler and infant room, the teachers conduct a circle time and reinforce the learning through art, music, and play. So, if anyone wants to come in and see Smarty Pants, there is an open-door policy, which means there are no appointments, we have nothing to cover up! We are confident in this school, we are clean, we are certified, and we dedicate ourselves to the children. Alison is at the center more then she is at home. She loves and treats the children as if they were her own. If anyone has any questions please feel free to call Smarty Pants! <3

Let me start of by giving my name, it is Jaqueline and both of my girls have attended Smarty Pants. I am personally offended by this so called Warning. Obviously it is from someone who was fired or one of Smarty Pants competitors, they wouldnt even leave their name. Thank Goodness I stumbled onto this! I have never met one person who has not raved over this school. Not only is it one of the cleanest I have ever seen, it is the most nurturing and loving atmosphere you could ever ask for. As far as the staff goes of course they are certified to work there and do an amazing job, and yes the Kindergarten teacher does have her degree, go ask to see it. Staff members who no longer work there still sub there from time to time and always stay in touch, you can see it for yourself on their FB page. As far as begging people to write a good review come on now, if you werent happy would you do that? I am sure all of those people wrote those reviews from their past or present experiences there. I know I did. Allison the owner is so personal with all the parents and staff and I am sure they confide in her, but she would never compromise herself and talk about anyone, she is far too proffesional to do so. She is one of the most caring people I have ever met and she loves her students and her staff. This is what she was meant to do. My girls have learned so much from sign language to spanish, numbers, alphabet, you name it. I was so upset to read those lies. This is such an amazing school, it is structered, fun, and you know your children are safe there. I am so blessed to have found this school, and believe me I did my research. Dont believe everything you read go see it for yourself. They have a no appt. policy so you can go in at anytime, they hide nothing. I love you Smarty Pants and you hold your head up high, you are the best. Please take it from me and go see it for yourself.

We searched around for over a year for daycare for our little girl. At the time she was a little over two years old. I wasnt going to be working yet but I wanted her to start socializing with other kids. We went and looked at the school a few times and finally made our determination that we would go with this school. My daughter has never been away from home and was quite scared. As we all know a child needs some time to adjust to anything new. However this school gave my daughter no time at all to adjust. Nap time was terribly hard for my little girl and she cried franticly! This school lead me to believe that they had experienced staff that could handle any type of child meaning they would know how to deal with a child that was very upset as she the owner had said she has 30 years experience. Well needless to say the first day went okay as my daughter enjoyed play time and singing and activities but nap time wasnt a good scene, day two the same thing happened. I received a very rude phone call from the owner stating that in 30 years she hadnt seen a child cry this way at nap time and I should look into somewhere else. I was stunned as this is day two. Most daycares or schools will speak with you in person and try not figure out a plan to make things work all she could say to me is by law she has to take a nap. I do not recommend this daycare at all as it isnt what it seems. This lady ( the owner ) is glad to cash your check but doesnt have the qualities or the compassion to own a daycare. Zero stars to her!

SmartyPants is not just "daycare", but truly a "day of care". Before Smartypants, I had my children enrolled in an overpriced "franchised center". You want to talk about disorganized or the rotating door of employees, pls feel free to contact me! Not only that, the amount of pink eye and sickness that went through my family was unreal. Not to mention the time my son received the WRONG MEDICINE!!! Once enrolled in Smartypants, not only did my son become pink eye and illness free, he became more affectionate. You want to know why...because #1 they clean it! Not only is it ongoing daily and weekly by staff, but you can see there is also professional cleaning. #2 The highly certified staff that teach your children, also LOVE your children. Children are a good judge of character, and if you view the children, they run to their teachers! They want to be near them. They "FEEL" the love. I also see Alison (owner) not only know each child by name, but know their favorite color, food, toy...you name it! She started a business and invested her heart. She loves and cherishes each child as if they were her own. I cannot thank SmartyPants enough for what they did for my family. SmartyPants played a big part in what my children are today. They are smart, considerate, loving, caring, and independent lil people. Keep up the GREAT WORK... Heres to Best DayCare 2012!
