While most parents cry the first time they drop their child off at day care, I anticipate sobbing on the last day. My son, Andy, was the first student registered at Rainbow Academy of Westwood when they opened in 2012 and from day one the wonderful staff has treated us like family. I knew from the start that my baby was in great hands! By the time he was a year old Andy was singing the ABCs; he was counting to 20 by 18 months and at two years old he is correctly using words like "ridiculous," "catastrophe," and "inconceivable," I attribute that, in large part, to the amazing education that he is receiving at Rainbow. It truly is more than just a "day care," the teachers are completely dedicated to enriching the minds of every child in their class. Later this month I will be transferring jobs and specifically chose our new home in Mahwah based on proximity to a Rainbow location so that my son can continue to learn and develop at what seems like warp speed! Crystal has worked with the Mahwah school to make our transition completely seamless. While we are very (VERY) sad to leave Rainbow of Westwood, we couldnt be more thankful for the time that Andy has spent there and the friends he has made along the way! Time to break out the tissues!

Our son started at Lightbridge Westwood when he was 3 months old, and it was very difficult for me as a first time mom to "let go." He was fine, but I was having major separation anxiety. The staff in non-mobile infants have been extraordinary in helping us transition to full-time daycare from initially just 2 days per week. Our son loves all the teachers, especially his primaries, and he smiles every time we enter his classroom. He gets to socialize with other infants his age and has developed impressive skills from watching the slightly older infants. He loves the sensory developmental activities (music, fingerprinting, etc) and is thriving in every way. I give a lot of credit to Lightbridge Westwood for their top-notch program. Although he caught his share of colds from being around other kids, I was careful to note that the facility is always clean and well maintained. We are moving to another town too far away to continue our enrollment at Lightbridge Westwood and it breaks our hearts to be saying goodbye. Without hesitation, we recommend LW to any parent based on excellent service, program, cleanliness and value.

We have been a part of the Rainbow Academy of Westwood family since September 2012...this past year has been filled with tremendous growth for our sons and for Rainbow...we couldnt be happier with our experience!!! We have had the opportunity to get to know all of the staff, including administration and owners...all of whom treat my family with dedication and warmth. We were drawn to Rainbow Academy of Westwood initially because of their warmth, openness, and strong core values of early childhood development...we have remained so happy because those same traits have been maintained and strengthened... We have experienced teachers and administrators who listen, care, and work closely with us to achieve wonderful things for our sons! It is a very good feeling to know that our children are a part of such a safe, healthy, educational and fun environment! Thank you so much, Rainbow family!!!

My 17 month old daughter has been with the RAINBOW ACADEMY for a few months and we have seen a wonderful difference already. She has become more verbal and is more interested in what other young children are doing. The available camera app for my phone is an awesome way to check in on her during the day! I love how patient the teachers are with my daughter as well. They helped make her transition into day care much easier than we thought it would be. I would highly recommend the Rainbow Academy to other parents. She is learning Spanish and Sign Language too. We went pumpkin picking last weekend and she kept doing the sign for pumpkin.

This is without a doubt the BEST place for any child. I am fortunate to have had my daughter enrolled here since she was 5 months old and I couldnt be happier. The teachers and staff are so kind and always go far beyond any expectation. My daughter is happy and excited to go to school each day. I can go to work with a clear mind knowing she is safe and learning so many new things all of the time. Would highly recommend this daycare to any and all of my friends and family. Check them out and you will not be disappointed. :)
